Driving to work the other day, a large hunk of plastic/rubber was flung up at me on the freeway. Hit me in my new grill while i was doing 75mph.

Hoo, just be glad it was just rubber. Seen a pallet fly off a truck and crash into a car before. Wasn’t pretty!

Take the grille off, sand with some high grain sandpaper and blast it with some spray paint or bed liner. Done.

The grille is cracked at least in on spot.. Gorilla glue? Definitely sucks.

Would have totaled a new Ford 1 Fitty, merely a flesh wound or patina for a Tundra, excellent driivng skills on your part and 3 points added to your man card. Nice work! Enjoy a beer on me!:cheers:

    Everything. Literally.
Grill is shot. Might as well just toss it.
Better yet, send it to me. I’ll take care of it for you.

I watched a trailer come off of a hitch and continue down the Interstate for a few hundred yards somehow.

Maybe the universe is telling you to get a new grill once your nerves calm down

I have had a couple of close calls with runaway tires. First one came off 18 wheeler. I followed it down the hwy at 55 mph for 1/2 mile. Crossed over grassy median and I paralleled it on opposite side for 1/4 mile. Last I saw it was headed through a fence in to a limo storage yard. O way home from work I saw like 4 people standing around looking at hole in fence like they were trying to figure out what happened. Another time a smaller passenger car or trailer tire went between me and vehicle behind me. It crossed 4 lanes of traffic without hitting anything. I hate road debris. If it comes off a vehicle and hits you insurance will cover. If it comes up off road no coverage. I hit an extension ladder straddling the lanes with Taco once. Taco went right over with no problem at about 60. Another time I had a metal tubed dining chair wedge under front bumper. Just had to drive until it dislodged.

    Didn’t see the crack (hehehehehe)

Yeah slap on some epoxy or gorilla glue. Good to go.

OR get a newer more badass grille :notsure:

The crack is actually not noticeable, I just pushed on it to show the crack. I think I'll just live with it for awhile, it gives it character....
