I'm taking my family back to Minnesota (where I grew up) to stay at a cabin on a lake for a week. It’s roughly 1000 miles each way from my home in Colorado. I own a 17’ Lund Crossover that is set up nicely.
I’m on the fence as to whether I should trailer my boat up there or rent one of the resorts. The cost for rental is 950 for the week. The difference in fuel cost maybe 300. So it’s a decent chunk of change.
Part of me says it will be easier just to rent theirs and not hassle with the towing but the Tundra pulls it like it’s not back there.
    What would you guys do?

I know we pull our boat to Lake Norris in Tennessee a lot. When we checked this year if we were to rent a ski boat down there it would be $2,000 for the one week and that's not even a V8 inboard ski boat like we have. The only reason why I even considered it was because a few other people were wanting to go. But for $2,000 no thanks and it's only a V6 runabout.

The more I think about it the more it makes sense to take my own boat. The trailer is new. Shouldnt be an issue

Just take a floor jack and spare tires last time we went to Tennessee I blew 3 tires on the way down and they were only two years old.
