What do you guys think about the Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors with the evolution brakes.

Put them on my big body Audi A8 with the EBC red stuff pads and man, what a difference! I highly recommend them.

Well hold on a second...ok, BUT...an Audi A8 is about 1200lbs lighter than a Tundra and has 15 inch rotors up front as compared to Tundra's 13.9 inch rotors...not even same ball park...maybe someone has a Tundra related experience?

no maybes about it...totally different situation...I'm not saying they didn't improve your Audi, but to suggest that the Tundra would have the same benefits is a stretch...

I was saying maybe, regarding you saying "maybe some has Tundra related experience?" I was merely posting up my experience with the rotors.

More than likely the pads are what improved the braking performance. The rotors will just allow you to maintain that performance longer as the temps increase.

Had them on my last tundra with the drilled rotors. They looked nice and worked fine, but no noticeable improvement in braking (no worse either) besides replacing a worn set.

If I were to get anything, it would be a slotted rotor for wet performance only. Other than that, just give me a premium rotor and some good pads.

I put some cross drilled/slotted rotors on my Tundra. No scientific data, but in wet conditions, the truck seemed to stop better. No difference towing or street driving that I could “feel”.

Now on my IS350...different story. These are force cooled by ducts. Premium pads and rotors only.

If I was to play devils advocate, my Corvette had one of the best braking systems I have ever been in. I could bruise my chest with the seat belt shoulder strap. Those were all cross drilled rotors and 6 piston front/4 piston calipers in the rear.

I put them on my '10, no complaints, they do not seem any better than the oem brakes, I also put on their ceramic pads.

Did you ever get the warped rotor feel again once you put them on .

    Flux capacitor!
I decided to change out my rotors and pads when I changed my tires at 35k miles. I went with the powerstop cross drilled and slotted rotors. At first they didn't seem to stop as well. But after they broke in they seem to be smoother than stock. They have a cool look but I liked the performance of my duralast black rotors and pads on my previous 2015 Tundra better. I would prefer the 6 piston big brake kit upgrade but they're crazy expensive!

Do you feel they stop as good or any better than the stock one's.

Not IMO. They are smoother but they don't seem to bit down as hard as the stock rotors and pads. I was told by others that the pads that came with the power stop rotors in a set may not be as good of pads. I bought different pads but I never got around to trying to have them installed yet.

I just changed my rotors for the first time at 97K. Previous owner had them turned at 89K. Went with oem for the longevity. Paid 120 on eBay for the set of two. Peace. D

I put them on my DD which is a 2014 Durango. They stop better than the oem setup. However, they do make a funny noise (akin to baseball cards stuck in the spokes of a bicycle). The noise isn't annoying or very loud. I don't even think you will be able to hear it in the Tundra because the tire & engine noise will drown that out. They squeak when cold on the first application of the brakes (I mean when the temp is below 20 degrees F). This just develops in the wintertime and goes away when temperatures are higher. I've done brakes on all my past vehicles, so I'm pretty sure it is not an installation issue. It may be the formulation of the pads and the hardware that just doesn't like cold temps. If the price is the same between these and oem, I'd use oem. But nothing wrong with the powerstop drilled and slotted. They look cool.

I bought mine from Brakemotive on eBay, around $200 for 4 new rotors and pads, they do not list them as Power Stop but they have Power Stop part numbers on them, here are a couple pictures from when I received them in Sept of '15.

I put these (Powerstop Z 36 Truck and Tow Kit) on my 2004 at 190k last year and there was a noticeable improvement over OEM. I then installed the stainless brake lines front and rear and it really stops well now

No Tundra experience, but I put the Power Stop/Evo on my Sienna as they were the same price as OEM. Slotted and cross drilled look kinda silly on a minivan but I dont care. I followed the break-in procedure per the instructions and have been very pleased with them. After 10k miles there is still no discernable wear and not a hint of warpping and I’m not exactly easy on brakes. Performance wise, there is a huge difference over the OEM. Combined with some new Michelin Premier LTX’s and crikey does that thing stop NOW. It’s not hard to get into the anti-lock even on dry pavement. The one con about them, and it’s nothing really, is that they are somewhat noisy, particularly when cold.
