Looking good. I plan on getting those same wheels. Your bumper is crooked. That's just my ocd talking.

Haha I know man! I was looking at that today. Too lazy to get under it right now. But I’m gonna fix that tomorrow.

Just a Cree light off eBay. I can’t justify a nice light bar in that tiny spot. Mostly for the look anyways.

Did you dip the center or did it come with a black insert?

Added tailgate seal and got rid of that flag pole of an antenna.

Finally got around to installing the BD light bar in the hood bulge. What a pain in the ass! Also, my hood vibrates now at 65-75mph. Is that normal?

Yeah, I cut them. Had to for this bar. It really is kind of a squirt install. Didn’t get those warm and fuzzies from the install like normal.

Just cut the outer ones. I’m guessing it’s that and a new airflow pattern back in there because it’s not constant. I may try to rig something up because it’s annoying as hell.

Tint done yesterday, 15% in fronts and 50% in back to get a close match....also picked up some free seat covers by coverking from a buddy who works at a used car lot. Someone traded a 2017 in and they strip them before they sell them. Nothing great, but for free, tough to beat. Forgot I threw on the color lugs that I got for xmas too. Subtle change, but enough for me to notice...

Did you use the holesaw for the 3 holes like the instal instructions mention? They told me without those, it creates a ram air type set up and can rip your bulge off.... hahaha

Got home today from Mississippi, I had to go to a funeral. My parts from @Roman had arrived. I was quick to unpack the truck and start disassembling. I don't have the time and patience to relocate the TSS, and I actually prefer the 2018 grill over the Pro. I guess since all of ya'll are switching to it I'll stay with it. Since I'm not doing a complete chrome delete i think the honeycomb looks better witth chrome. Swapping the inserts can be tricky, but I only broke 2 tabs, and that was on the chrome surround. I call it a win. Here's a picture, but the truck is dirty and the setting sun doesn't help.20180128_172459.jpg

Absolutely! I wish I would’ve gone bigger honestly. Hard to get my mitts through those holes for the bolts. I did it all right, just sucks to have that vibration now.

Thanks for posting your experience with the light in hood bulge. I've had reservations about doing it (what happens driving in the rain?) and am now convinced not to.

Ive had two tundras with lightbars in the bulge and have had zero issues except for a bulge coming off- totally my fault. I think its an isolated case he has, have never seen or heard it before.

I have over 150k on my hood bulge led bars, our highway speed is 80 and its windy out here the majority of the time.

Thanks. What about driving in the rain? Seems like at least some of that water is going in the engine bay.
I've got a 42" light bar in the bumper and ditch lights so I've probably got enough light. I thought it might be nice to have some amber for dust though.

Decided against the Stubby and went w/this 12in. one. Looks way better that stock and works just as good imo.
