Im wanting to get my windows tinted. Can't decide whether to have fronts match the factory tint, or go darker.
Has anyone used or had experience with SunTek or Solar Guard products?

Mine is Solar Guard. I have no complaints, but I don't have any experience with anything different. Pretty much all the local shops around me use Solar Guard. I went darker, and tinted the rears as well to ensure everything matched up. I also did my entire windshield. Cops don't pay me a whole lot of attention; however, I did get one ticket in this truck for tint. My windshield being tinted just make all the other windows look that much darker.

If you just want to match the rear windows, 17-20% is what you'll want on the front doors.

If you want darker, my front doors are 5% and I put 20% over the factory rears and everything matches good. My windshield is 32%

Here are 2 pics from my last Tundra, tinted the exact same way as this one:

Thanks. This may be the route I go then, minus the windshield. The darker windows look good on the MGM.

Here's 15% on the side window and 90% on the windscreen.

Any issues being able to see out, especially at night, with the 20 over factory on the back?

35% on front windows is all I can get, legally, but can do anything on the back. Leaning 20% over the factory, but I don't want to make it difficult to see out.

Im about to do my fronts as well... I have limo over stock on all 3 back windows... I love it. Even with my superbright LED dome lights, you can barely see them from outside at night. but im a pretty cautious driver anyways

How bad does the limo restrict your ability to see out at night?

its dark, but It doesn't really hinder driving since the fronts are stocks and I have bigass tow mirrors. but it is darker, that's for sure. if I can remember, ill take some pics tonight and post

I had the minimum tint on my fronts with SunTek. Because of course in NJ window tints are not allowed, lime everything else

Now you guys are making me wish I knew someone with a 3D printer or metal fab machine to create a custom badge for my truck.
