@Roman As you may know there is a hood scoop on the TRD Sport model. Do you know is this a piece you can attach to a existing hood? Or if a person wanted this scoop they would have to order a full hood since the scoop is molded into the hood?

Not saying I would order one as I have never been a big fan on non-functional hood scoops but it does look kinda cool on this model.

It has studs and clips that go through the hood to mount it. You'd either have to buy a new hood, or have a really nice drill and a steady hand. It is not functional at all.

I don't have one in stock. The diagram doesn't show it. It just shows the nuts and clips that go with it.

Everything needed is about $875 plus paint. Keep in mind, I'm not shipping hoods at all.

@Roman as always Thank You for the information and pricing. I think for right now I'm gonna stick with what I have. My list of things to do to my truck is long enough that I don't think I need to add this to it :)

I don't blame you. I've always been one for function > form myself. I think even if I had a 2018 TRD Sport, I would want the regular hood. :)

You could move the scoop over to where the air box is, cut a hole, and run an open air filter. Might notice a solid 1-2hp on the old butt dyno. :D

True ! Toyota was saying if you just open it up it'll create turbulence and actually make the engine overheat.

Any one thought of opening it up to set up a top mount intercooler for a supercharger? I'm thinking of doing that with mine in the future. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of anyone that has had that idea?

Hi everyone, just sign up, started browsing around and ran into this post. Thought I share how my 2014 Tundra Platinum look with the new 2018 Tundra TRD Sport Hood Scoop. I also change the front grill and the center lower bumper cover.

I still have the white valance and I haven't decided yet if I want to sell it or not. But if I do end up selling it, I'll probably sell it with the front grill together.

Did you buy a whole new hood from the 18s or did you buy the individual pieces for the scoop kit and have a body shop drill, fit and paint it?

I didn't buy a brand new hood. I bought all the seals, nuts, stud plates and the hood scoop from Toyota. Then I had a body shop paint the hood scoop and I did the install. But before I install the hood scoop I went to go look at a brand new 2018 Tundra TRD Sport to take a bunch of pictures and measurement. I had to be quick doing it because I didn't want a sale man to come out and start asking questions lol.
