I recently purchased a 2007 Tundra 5.7 CrewMax and have just recently (since the Arkansas weather decided to turn frigid) experienced the passenger side blowing only cold air. The driver side is somewhat luke-warm and the rear console is blowing warm air.
My question is where can I find diagrams of the duct system, location of any actuators and possible prints of the duct-vent louvers which direct the air. I am not a mechanic but I wanted to be at-least knowledgeable about how this system works before asking a dealer/mechanic about my issues.
I would really like to be able to correct this problem myself if possible but I would at-least want to be some what knowledgeable about my questions before hand.
Any help with finding a site or location of these items is greatly appreciated.

When working on trucks, always start with simplest solution. (A process of elimination.) Since it's an older truck, have you ensured the radiator fluid is full? If it's low, you won't get as much heat. Also, the thermostat may not be working right...if it's stuck open then the truck will never get up to a warm temperature. When was the last time it was changed? If never or a long time, that's an easy fix. (Or you could take it out and do the temp check with a glass of water, cold then hot...search in youtube for that.) There could, also, be an air bubble in there (near where the heater is down low) so sometimes you have to work to get that air bubble out. I know there is a trick to it but can't remember, a search on youtube should show it. (My friend has his Tacoma engine replaced and then found his heater would only blow cold air...turned out the tech didn't get the air out of his radiator correctly when filling it back up...not a difficult fix.) My bet is one or more of those things is the issue. If it's blowing air, even cold, then I don't think there's anything else in that area that could break. If it has a cabin air filter, make sure it's clean as a dirty one won't let as much air through. Let us know what you find out!

Thanks for the info, I just replaced the radiator fluid and thought about an air bubble so I used a field terrace for raising the front end and then put the rear end on it. I read where raising the front and then the rear with the engine running for a few minutes should get any air bubbles out. Again I have some heat on the drivers side and hot air is blowing out the rear of the console air ducts. I haven't checked the thermostat but again I have hot air in one vent area so that leads me in other directions.
I am now looking into maybe an actuator issue or even air duct louvers/arms broken. Both heater hoses are warm/hot again leading away from radiator issues. I haven't had a second person to help while working on the problem so this also makes things harder to identify. I have talked to a mechanic friend some and he tends to think it may be a actuator issue so he is going to look for some information but I don't want to bother him much until I am ready to give up. He has already done some paid work for me and I am trying to keep cost down as long as I can.

I do appreciate your effort to help and all ideas are welcome and will be considered logically. The weather has just recently gotten into the single digits in my area making the heater issue more of a concern and more noticeable. I really need to fix this while the weather is cold as it will only go another year if not addressed now.

Well, it turns out I have already covered everything suggested and am down to the duct system again. I am now preparing to have a mechanic shop go into the dash and look into the internal ducts to see if I have a broken part or why the proper doors in the duct work are not directing the air where intended.
Thanks everyone for the input, I just hope I finally find and fix the problem.
