I am picking up my new Tundra next week and trying to talk myself out of dropping $800 for a hard tri fold cover. I don't want soft, etc so it is that it or nothing.

I like the look of the cover, but is it something I want to spend $$$ on right now? Anyone able to help me NOT get one? Lol

Have you looked at the retractable models? Even more pricey but it's what I'll replace my softy with when it goes.

Love my G2 trifold. Sometimes there is a group buy on here. There was a guy on this forum selling them for $600.00, but he went AWOL. If you want to save money sometimes you have to wait for the right time.

I love mine. I don't remember paying more than 2k, maybe a little under. It's absolutely worth it, I also got the Yakima tracks for the bikes and basket.

Got the softie. Liking it so far but in hindsight wished I'd spent the extra and got a hard cover. Don't scrimp like me. Pay up and enjoy

That's the one I want. Where do you find $789? Is it with the deck rail system?

I got the Tonno Pro Hardfold. Vinyl cover over aluminum hard panels. AutoAnything was running 20% off for Father's Day so I got it for ~$400 which was a little more palatable cost wise than the other covers I considered.

I went with a used BakFlip VP. Hard tri fold with vinyl covering, it is very low profile compared to many other hard covers. They have an adapter kit to lower your bed rails so you can still use them. Personally I don't think they will be as strong (I used the stock bedrail setup to secure my MX bike, but I don't know if I would try it with the adapter kit, haven't tried it yet).

I do love the VP though, zero complaints.

I have the Xtang 2.0 and love it. Soft covers fade and crack over time. It's worth the extra money and it will last longer.

I pulled the trigger. Found a place that sold me a 2.0 for $715 all in. Only asked a hundred times if it was the right part number and checked their return policy just in case.

A little of this and a little of that.
Yeah, I’ve got a BakFlip X2 Revolver. I love that it can be rolled up but still see out the back window. It came with hardware to drop the original baed rail kit down so both can be used. LOW Profile if I’ve ever seen one. You won’t be disappointed with the Revolver.

    PS
Sorry I wasn’t asble to save you any money:sorry:

You came to the wrong place if saving money is on your agenda.

I have the Retrax PowertraxONE Tonneau Cover. A wee bit more expensive but hey who doesn't love remote control?

They are more now, but they had a surplus then and were trying to get rid of them. They will negotiate with you though so you can get then down somewhat.

I have an XTANG 2.0. I like the look and quality, and installation was easy. The only problem is, I can’t use it with a bed extender. The way the have the latch system set up, there is no way you can use a bed extender as the handles are totally in the way. I like the cover, but had I known, I would not have bought it.
