Ok....this one has a clamp that tightens to the vent....I really like it...very solid...not sure it would hold phone on rough trail but in the city...rock solid 10$

Mark can't remember where or who I got it from, but just a basic air vent holder. Not a big fan of magnetic one's.

That’s what I had before but it kept falling out...of the vent. Your vents are different than my lil circle vents.

found a great mount from proclipusa.com that I put in my wife's 4runner. it's just the base. took 30secs to install and is solid. we're using Rokform magnetic cases - we use these for bike mounts. I stuck a magnet to the proclip mount and it works really really good. the magnet is great because you can put the phone in any orientation just by turning it.

    Forgot to update:

I ended up with this “almost” bomb proof mount. It’s the @sdhq_offroad Mob Armor mount. Magnetic, but very nicely done

I found a way to mount my iPad mini.. only way is horizontally but it will do the job at hands reach without obstructing my view. And shake free(hopefully).. really miss the iPad Air with the bigger screen.
