Yes! We do this and give our son a teaspoon a day in the summer to help combat his grass/weed allergies. We just make sure it's honey from Parker CO.

How in the name of all that is holy am I just now finding this thread?

Uh, here’s a quick one while I catch up on 37 pages of posts...

The word assasin originated from the Middle East where it was common to secretly murder the neighboring sultans and take over their lands. The people hired to do the killings would smoke hash first as some sort of purification thing or whatever. They were called hasheeshins and of course the English language just fuckered it into assasin.

I found this thread recently and I’m reading it all. As such, I may necro-reply randomly.

I live by this method of work. It’s called FOT FUSE.

Fix one thing, fuck up something else.

Keeps me from overdosing on the hasheesh.

Meats don't contain the same amount of protein per weight. Here are some examples:
    Chicken 4oz = 27g
    Mahi Mahi 3oz = 16g
    Pork Tenderloin 3oz = 13g
    Lean Ground Turkey 3oz = 21g
    Eye of round steak 4oz = 20g
    Scallops 3.5oz = 15g
    Shrimp 4oz = 18g
    Tilapia 5oz = 22.2g
    Turkey Breast 3oz = 26g
    Canned Tuna Fish 4oz = 20g
    Ground Beef 3oz = 24g
    Halibut 3oz = 23g
    Yellowfin Tuna 3oz = 25g
    Roast Beef 3oz = 18g
    Canadian bacon 3oz = 15g
    Beef Jerkey 1oz = 13g
    Bison 3oz = 24g
    Buffalo 4oz = 25g

This would be easier to understand if everything was provided by the ounce or the same amount. It's hard for my brain to easily compare 1.5 oz of one thing to 4 oz of another.

I'm sure those are meant to represent the typical serving sizes, but I eat pretty much everything by the quarter or half pound. ;)

I need to be eating around 200g of protein so i was trying to figure out how much that is.
That is 1.85 lbs of chicken or a 40oz steak.

Sorted alphabetically and then sorted by protein density per ounce, regardless of serving size.

97% of bird species, the males don't have penises. So I'm not really sure what these two are trying to do.

Since I’m studying for my CCA test tomorrow, here’s a few random ag/soil/food facts I’ve come across:

If you removed 6” of soil from one acre of ground (roughly the size of a football field) you would have around 2,000,000 lbs of soil.

The first domesticated wheat species, Triticum monococcum, was first cultivated in 8,650 to 7,950 BC.

Each American farm produces enough food and fiber for 165 people annually

The first hybrid sweet corn variety was released in 1933. This was also the first variety bred for disease resistance.

In one day, a high producing dairy cow produces enough milk for 10.3 lbs of cheese.

Cats are from another planet. They invaded earth around 5,000 BC but the scout ships burnt up on entry and all the radiation made most of them grow a bunch of weird hair and they all lost the ability to talk. So they couldn’t get word back to the invasion fleet, and the same thing happened to all of them. Which is why they’re all so pissed off. Cuz they were gonna be running this joint, And now they’re just an arrogant house pet that will eat your face the second you die. They were however, able to keep their electromagnetic abilities, cuz everytime you throw one out a window or off a building, they land on their feet. Also they only have 7 lives, not 9.

I mean it says that on the internet... so it must be true.
