Hello everyone, I have been searching the internet and forums for help with wiring my led lights trips but I can't figure it out. I don't understand the whole pin 86 and what not that others have posted about. I bought the mictuning switch but I don't exactly know where to wire them. The issue is my led lights only have two wires, a black and white...no blue like others.

So my question is for the switch, do I wire it the following way?

Green to white with inline fuse
    Black to black
Red 2 to another factory switch for lights
    Red 1 to fuse panel????

If this is correct what factory wire for lights did you guys tap into and what fuse did you use?

    Any help would be appreciated
    Thank you

I have 2 Led bar running off same switch. Green wire is run to circuit in under hood fuse box that is only hot with ignition on. You can do same thing using interior box and run one less wire through firewall. Red 1 goes to relay to activate and send power to lights. This might be the pin 86. I would have to confirm by looking at relay wiring diagram. You can goobgle it. Red 2 is hooked to blue wire dash illumination on nearby switch. Don't remember if I used one to left or right. Does not matter

Thank you very much but I have no idea what "pins" you are referring to. Is that something on the truck or something I need to buy?

Okay hold on so I think I get it. I get a relay like this right? If so can you please tell me what "Pin 86 connects to switch (load); this is “trigger” wire to turn on relay (16 awg wire)" means
