-Taco tune adapters for front and back. The rear adapters had to have the speaker hole widened. And the fronts didn't work with the 6x9s that I bought. Which was strange because taco tunes recommends them. I had to use a 5/8 inch thick piece of wood cut out in the shape of the adapter to add to making the magnet clear the speaker.

-One very important thing to me was not to lose any functionality of the rear seats lowering and moving. The amps were mounted under the seats so they wouldn't interfere with the seats.

    *Exhaust:
-BAMuffler made by Keith Carty owner of DirtyDeeds Industies
Dual exhaust system made for TRD pipes, all done in stainless steel, X-Pipe, Resonators welded onto the system directly behind the mufflers. In high temp black paint.

-TRD Pipes black satin ceramic coated

-TRD Pipes set came with hanger for the extra pipe and a new wider heat shield

-I think I may have watched every video on the web with Tundra exhaust systems. Thats what it feels like anyway. I wanted to make sure I got the right sound and that it wasnt too quiet and that it wasnt too loud. After talking with Keith from BAMuffler and going over it in my mind for about a month, I finally ordered my system with a plan in mind to have something unique. I then ordered my TRD pipes and sent them to the ceramic coat guy who took about a week to get them back to me.

-I ended up with exactly what I wanted, so maybe this could help someone else to decide too.

My suggestion would be to listen with a good headset.

That does sound sick! Looks great too. What are your thoughts on a corsa exhaust?

I had a trd on my Tacoma and i loved it. I think for the tundra the corsa is single exit and the trd is dual exit, which I do think looks nicer. Price is similar. I think corsa sport may be louder than the trd?? Not sure.

Corsa sounds pretty good, but the problem with all dual exhaust set ups on the tundra is the change in the powerband. All dual set ups will cause some drop in the low end for our trucks. The reason I went with this particular one, was the straight thru muffler design, an xpipe, and it uses the dual trd tail pipes. Those things will make it to where it barely loses any of the low end. I think with a lot of set ups you are going to have a fairly good loss. The best set up for to and power gain with the tundra if you are not doing headers or have a charger, would be a straight thru design that utilizes the single out stock tail pipe. The only reason I know any of this was research and the gentleman I purchased mine from has dyno'd the tundra with numerous setups to see what works best. That being said... The truck has a load of power, so you may not even notice that tq loss.

I went with a single exhaust as it's one less thing to worry about ripping apart if you wheel...I'll try to get some video this week of mine...but, the exhaust shop suggested a single exhaust as well due to the possibly of losing power...

Yeah probably so. Toyota has the tundra dialed in pretty well. I'd like to see that video. I decided on duals just in case I go with headers. One thing a guy can do to bring back a lot of that low end tq is to get a hypertech interceptor. When I installed mine it felt like it brought it back and then some.

They make the speedometer unit and a tuner for the tundra. I've got the tuner. It's pretty nice. Changes shift points and holds out the 6th gear when you are on the hwy instead of down shift g at the slightest press of the pedal. It also De-sensitizes the pedal on take off. So it doesn't jump so hard if you just press it for normal acceleration. And gives I think 17 hp and 21 tq.

The full race system with headers is supposed to, but I have true duals from the cats back. I do plan to have it dyno'd though to see where it's at

What features does the TSS Off-Road have over the SR5 or TRD Off-Road?

Ha, yeah its my favorite truck I've owned. The TSS package is something gulf states Toyota does. It's purely cosmetic. So the truck is a 4x4 with an sr5 package and then they add the 20s, black steps, floor mats and decals. I think the skid plate is a little different too. There may be a couple other things I'm not thinking of, but you get the basics. It's cosmetic. After this pic I removed the tundra badging off the doors and the little Toyota badge above the tundra badge above the tailgate. All the other badging I am going to leave on the truck including the SS decals. The trd off - road actually has the bilstein shocks and this one has the sr5 shocks. I was OK with that because I plan to change them to what I want.

Very nice. Keep adding in the photos for all the mods. Curious about a couple.
Did you wind up the para cord on the handles yourself?
Is the tailgate anti theft just a hose clamp?
    What is the seatbelt anchor?

Yes, I wrapped the Paracord myself. Super tight so it would feel solid.
You got it, just the hose clamp. It already has the lock on the tailgate, bit just in case I did it. I also used black electrical tape around the hose clamp be for I put it on so it wouldn't hurt the paint.
Seatbelt anchor- you ever ride around with your windows down and the front passenger belt flops around? Well I bought a factory anchor for the pillar and installed it. I'll get a pic up tomorrow.

Should I bring down the size of the larger pictures? It seemed fine from my phone, but looking at it on my computer this morning, the pictures are HUGE! And is there anyway to resize them without taking them down and replacing them? I like the exhaust picture size.

this forum will resize them to fit properly on whatever device someone is viewing it with...so no need to, unless you think they're too big in general
