Any luck selling TRD wheels?

How have everyone got rid of their TRD wheels they have taken off? What’s the right amount to ask for in perfect condition set?
Mine are coming off Saturday and I see no reason to keep them.
I’ll post pics when the wheels/tires are on.

The reason I ask is I would think shipping would be insane? So if it’s local pick up I’m Limited.

 

This is correct. It was a pretty simple transaction due to locality.

If it helps I paid $800 for mine with 7k on the original Michelins. The tires still looked brand new.

They were not. I swapped the sensors from my stock wheels.

I saw a few on Craigslist selling for about $1100. So I put mine up for $900 and it sold in less than an hour. That was with 5000 miles and TPMS included. I probably could have gotten a little more but I just didn’t want to deal with it.

 

I’ll also have 5 tires. I’m going to a 275/70/18 and I don’t want a different size spare. Tires turning at a different revolution doesn’t sound good to me.
I just grabbed a cheap AT in the same size.

How many miles on tires?

i think I bought mine with around 600 miles on them @Almaboy will correct me if I’m wrong there

 

You are correct, if that many. Pretty sure I swapped them out within a month or 2 of original purchase.

 

I just looked and it was 32 days, so yeah, less than 1000 for sure

 

I broke wheels and tires up. Sold 5 OEM tires for $650. Sold the OEM TRD wheels for $600. I actually shipped the wheels to Canada to a tundras.com member... got a good shipping rate by setting up a business account with Ontrac.

I have done this with multiple OEM wheel/tire combos from many different cars. I've always had success separating them.

Thanks. Good info. My thought process was the same as the tire would appeal to more vehicle owners while I believe that lug but pattern is specific to the Tundra.

Some people. Tire shops . Ask crazy prices. But must get them or why would they list them so high. Good luck. D

 

Unloaded mine virtually new (500miles) on CL for $800 no tpms in two hrs, could of held out for more I suppose but done and done was the goal.
