Got a loaner while my tundra is getting some warranty work done. This taco is so WEAK! No power, I mean can’t compare a V6 to a V8 but I’m glad I don’t own one, seems like my old 2011 taco was better. Can’t even lean back on the seat there’s not much room especially with my son’s giant car seat. It’s true what they say it gear hunts a lot!, like it doesn’t know which gear to go to, I miss my tundra. I love the size of the taco though for wheeling, they probably know I wheel and they gave me a 2wd limited taco with less than 3000miles haha.

I had tacoma for the past 15 years a 99 and on 08. The 3rd gen Tacomas performance and reviews steered me right into my Tundra. I feel like I made a great choice.

Put a V8 into a taco and I would probably trade right now!

The new 3.5 v6 likes to rev, even in the Tacoma. Honestly I think it's such a mismatch for the truck.

V8 in my 03 4runner was nice and would be awesome in a Tacoma.

Those 4.7 4runners were so sweet. And they got pretty much same gas mileage as the 3.4 V6. I always wanted one but never ended up getting one. If I was going to build an off road SUV the v8 4runner would be very high on my list.
