I need some advice on what I should do. On my 2017 Tundra I put the 6112 set at 1.9 and it drives fine but I really want to put a bigger tire to fill in the wheel well and what I’m looking at will probably lift another 1 inch. At that point would it be nesccsary to replace the UCAs?
And if I don’t am I stressing out other components?
    Thanks for any feedback.

Use the search function for more answers, been discussed before. Less than a 3” lift no need for UCA’s unless you can’t get your alignment right for some reason or your offset and tire size rubs the UCA.

You'll be fine. Depends on size tire and offset of rims for rubbing. I'm running 3" lift, stock ucas, drives great,no alignment problems. 306 70 18 stt pros

Your height shouldn't be an issue as far as UCAs go. A wide tire might cause an issue with clearance between the uca and tire but that's a wheel offset issue.

Thanks. I did search but seem to get mixed opinions. I was wondering more if it puts added stress on any other components up front?

You'll want a diff drop to keep cv angles better.

I would think larger tires do add more strain on components as well as engine, tranny, diff, wheel bearings etc. But, these are tough trucks and I wouldn't think twice about it.

If it were me I’d go ahead and add them. It will not hurt, so if you’re gonna constantly be concerned, or hit potholes, the UCA’s are a must

Yep. I’m thinking the same way and will just do it when I get the wheels/tires.
I was looking at the SPC light racing since they are more in my budget.
    Thanks for the advice.

I got the wheels, tires, lift, and UCAs done all together and paid an arm and a leg in Denver

Yea, I did my Tacoma and it was a pain in the ass. I’m going to make some calls and see what it would cost me.

RSG OFFROAD on Colfax does primo work, but they sound like dicks when you call. Not the cheapest but are extremely reliable and do have been really good to me

They do extremely solid work too

Thanks. I’ll check into them. I use 4WP from time to time but they aren’t real close and the the 4 wheel shop here in Castle Rock is a joke with prices.
It’s not a highly technical job so most shops should be able to handle it.

I called them after all the recommendations and they were very helpful and nice on the phone. I will be having them do my install once I get everything bought.

They also mentioned they stock UCAs just in case you need them as every truck is different apparently.

I highly recommend UCAs for numerous reasons but no, not all lifts require them

SPC are fine in my opinion, and they are relatively innexpensive. What kind of lift are you getting?

6112/5160 top setting, 20x9 wheeel with +20 offset. It seems like most UCAs mentioned here are more than the 6112s, so its nice to know there are some less expensive options.

I’m not 100% sure on pricing but there definitely less expensive options if you’re not going to thrash them off road. The guys that go full throttle will spend some money for top shelf gear, but it’s not necessary if you’re not looking to do the tough trails

You should be just fine with the factory uppers honestly, we have seen a lot of people get back into spec just fine with the factory uppers with that amount of lift.
