Find a picture of @FirstGenVol's truck. It's AC, so not quite your DC, but it'll show you what it'll look like. Here's the last shot I found of his truck in the "Show us your Tundra" sticky thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/lets-see-your-first-gen-photo-thread.21/page-116#post-3377550

I personally don't like the way it looks unless you do all the trim in black like he did, along with black armor up front, so it's carrying a theme. If you just do the fender flares it makes it look like you installed new flares but were too lazy to paint them. Black flares on a painted vehicle is also a base-model feature for some brands, only the higher-end have everything painted.

Wait, what? I swear there was another reply above mine. Looks like maybe someone came in, replied to zombie bump, then deleted their message? Or maybe I accidentally sorted the threads weird? Huh.

I have an 06 DC and I painted my fender flares matte black. I know its been a week since the last response but I can send you pictures and walk you through the process if you'd like.

Oh snap, didn't realize the post originated in 2015. I'll still put in the pictures since others wanted them.IMG_0888.jpg IMG_2036_jpg.jpg IMG_2040_jpg.jpg IMG_2213_jpg.jpg IMG_9956_jpg (1).jpg

Lol, I tried to spray the step bars with bed liner but I ran into issues so I scraped it off immediately. One day soon I'll either have rock sliders or black step bars. I'm still deciding what I want to do with this truck.
