Mostly tentative, I'll go through the thread to tag everyone and see whose in. As well as creating a meeting spot and time and all that jazz. I have a buddy from TW who'd like to join as well

 

That's cool with me. You should post your off roading pics to entice the other guys get the off road emotions going so we get more people

 

I think that would be more beneficial with TUNDRA PICS!

I tried calling Nikon yesterday, my camera may have officially died, but I'll for sure snap some pictures of you on the trail! Phone camera most likely lol but it works well enough

Post em' up if you want too! If not we'll get some good ones for next time

Thanks MUCHO for taking the lead on planning this one, to get us newbies rollin' out! I'm coming up on days off and will go through the remainder of the great list of easy routes you posted. Not to choose but to chime in if you want us to, about adding additional routes. I ordered several area maps and am happy to see THIS ONE covers the area we're headed....

Same for all of us. We can do that thing where we find a boulder that's low on one side and high on the other, get one wheel up to stage a photo (taken by one of us lying on the ground shooting up), and just like that, we'll be QUALIFIED.

I'll bring a GoPro. Probably won't have decided on a mount for the truck, but the fisheye perspective will make any staged boulder pic look AWESOME.

 

That trail map is going to be super helpful!

Yes! Lots and lots of pictures! The go pro will add some cool effects for sure

Good call on the radio it's key to communicate within the group for splits in the trail, on coming vehicles, random hidden rocks when it's dusty, aaaaand for the misc BS haha.

 

Naw, don't worry about extra steps in your game. You've been doin' all the planning for this. Plus, probably can't share as many beers as we might in other circumstances.

Looks cool. Ventura/ SFV is a bit of a trek.

 

I recently bought a Front Runner RTT and would like to see some of their other products up close but it’s a 2.5 hour drive for me without traffic. Not gonna happen this time but thanks for the heads up. Let us know how it goes.
