I apologize if this topic has already been discussed. I am new to this forum and a new owner of a 2017 Tundra DC Limited as of September. These wiper blades are not very good in the snow. Is there a "winter" version replacement? I did purchase a pair from a local auto parts store (can't remember the brand off hand) but the clips that came with them don't seem to look the same, so left stock ones on. Yesterday's major snow storm was challenging. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks!!

My 2018 has the beam type blades and they work well, when I have to replace them I will buy Bosch Icon blades. All the winter blades are just a regular blade with a rubber boot, I think they are inferior to the beam type blades.

By the way, welcome to the forum!

Bought mine in August and my OEM wipers went bad. I just purchased interstellar champ beam force 1 wiper blades from Amazon. Reviews where great. Bit tricky to install but just read the instructions and take your time. They are working out great. Had bosch wipers in the past, thought I would try something new.

A few years ago, a friend in Texas told me about his blades that have lasted six years and are, still, like new. I was skeptical but researched them and everyone gives them high marks.

I replaced all of mine (3 cars) with them about a year and half ago and they are, still, like brand new. But you can't find them in the stores, I found mine on Amazon. They are called PIAA Si-Tech blades. Our Colorado snow, frost, and ice hasn't seemed to damaged them, so far. (They are expensive but, I think, will be well worth it if they last 6 or more years!)

Surprisingly, the WORST blades I've ever bought were at the parts store in my Toyota dealer...didn't even last a year!

The wiper blades where one of the things I replaced soon after I bought the truck. They were just terrible in the rain so I knew in the snow they would bite. I went with TRICO NeoForm® (Premium - Beam) from rockauto. So far I like them and they are working great.

Pretty sure @matluth runs the same, or at least has mentioned them on another thread

Yep. I mentioned this before that when I got to Anchorage in 11/11 I realized I needed some decent wipers. Went to O'Reilly's and asked what wipers were capable for AK winter. Salesperson walked me out of the front door and pointed to the trash can. Trash can was full of open Bosch Icon blister packs. Went back in and got a pair. $55 per pair. I have some winter style Toyota Sight Line Wipers on now and the ones I have are quite similar to the Icons and run $40+ a set. They work surprisingly well.
