Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
Greetings all I'm looking for some ideas on mounting switches on the interior of my Tundra. I've got a platinum so have no available blanks.
I'm looking at the sPOD but am not sure on where to mount the switches. I prefer the rocker switch style over button style but am open to seeing your creative solutions.
If you've got images in your build links are appreciated.
    Cheers

Not rocker switches but I’d get a switchpro and mount it on the center console. @sdhq_offroad

If you really want a SPOD, they have a mount in the sunglass holder.

I do like how clean this looks.
Ideally I'd like something like what comes stock in a raptor. The spod is the closest I could find but really just looking for other ideas I may not have considered. What works well what didn't etc.
    Cheers

I have sPod, I can still get you 10% off and free shipping if you go this route.

Install is simple and I like not having to cut bug holes in stuff to mount it cleanly.

Here is where I mounted switched in my 1794, I had the same issue of no blank switch locations. If I had to do it again now, I would do the switchpros with the SDHQ adapter.

So I have the buttons available where you have heated seats....do they make a switch that fits in those slots?

I have not seen anyone install a switch where the heated seat button are, but does not mean there is not a switch that you can put there. If you have blank covers in those locations, you can probably put some small toggle switches in the blank plates.

Thank you all for the suggestions I appreciate everyone's input.
I think I'll call sPOD and make sure the overhead switches will work with my model. If that doesn't work then I'll look at the shdq setup. Generally I just prefer the toggle switch over push button but keeping everything clean is also important (damn ocd).
    cheers

I got a relay switch box and gave it a try and works great. It runs ditch lights, both front light bars, rear light and air compressor.

    All the usual stuff!
How and where is everyone running multiple wires for all their light?

Reverse, ditch, roof, grille, bumper, accessory, and do on. That’s a lot of wires to try to figure out how to get them into the cab.

sounds like everyone is using either switchpros or spod. it will route a single wiring harness into the cab rather than wires for each accessory.
I'm going with the spod because I like the tactile switches but more people seem to prefer switchpros.

I used this. Hooks to battery. No running wires into the cab. It's All under the hood. It runs my ditch lights, bull bar, grille led bar, reverse lights. Plus it wireless remote. I take it inside when it's Dark out and turn them on or off if I'm coming or going. Its the size of a garage opener. $39 @ autozone

yea i got a relay box similar to spod or switch pro. it stays in the engine bay and runs 1 wire lume into the cab and connects to the swith panel. i was goin to build my own but just couldnt get the time so I found one on Amazon for $160 and ordered it, and when it got here i tested the wires and relays all prior to install to make sure they can handle the load and wiring was good. I have been running it for a few months now and it works great. I have my air compressor wired to it, ditch lights, hood light bar, and grill light bars with 2 pod lights, and rear bumper lights. Simple install as well. Here is the link and some pics.
