Bought my truck 11/22/17. I had a couple trucks fall through in the buying process. I found this one about two hours away and put a deposit on it sight unseen. It's a 2011 Limited 4x4 that had 46k miles on it. One owner by an older guy that barely drove it. No one had even sat in the back seat before. I've been thrilled with the purchase so far. The interior color is by far my favorite that Toyota offers.

Got my truck back after 5 days at the stereo shop. There was a point in my life I would have done the instal myself but my professional and personal commitments don't leave me a ton of extra time.

I had the JBL system in my truck and was not happy with the performance and decided it needed an overhaul. After researching local installers I found a company with 25 years in the business that had previously built some impressive vehicles and had solid reviews.

I wasn't super familiar with Massive Audio but after hearing their demo vehicle I was sold. I decided on the following:

    Pioneer AVH-2300NEX
Massive Audio 6.5" 2 way component for both front and rear doors
    Rockford Fosgate 10" shallow mount
    Massive Audio BP1000.4 x 2
    Massive Audio BP2000.1
    iDatalink Maestro
    Alarm/Remote start
    XM tuner
    Front camera
    50 square feet of Dynamat
    4 gauge amp kits

    Iphone 1_2_2018 2536.jpg

I opted to use all the space behind the rear seat to try to keep as much of the seat travel as possible. I also didn't want anything mounted under the seats. Nothing kicked by kids and my Vaultek goes under the passenger seat.

Had to modify the trim piece and obviously I lost the jack space.
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2554.jpg

Only lost one notch and can still fully recline
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2562.jpg

I wanted something different with the front doors so I had custom door pods made. Basically a mini speaker box built in behind the mount. Only did the front for now

I went with the Pioneer deck because I thought it gave me the most options without navigation. Like most I use my phone for all that so I just wanted a clean interface.
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2570.jpg Iphone 1_2_2018 2559.jpg

Mounted the bluetooth mic near the visor
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2567.jpg

Already had a backup camera so we mounted one in the front.
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2574.jpg

Had to install a switch in the dash for the front camera
    Iphone 1_2_2018 2572.jpg

It turned out better then I had hoped. The sound quality exceeded my expectations. The bass isn't going to knock any fillings lose but It's enough to fully enjoy the music.

Just ordered my RB10's and MX4 from @eccracer104 and AutoAnything. He couldn't have been more helpful and offered some great pricing.

    Ordered my retrofits from @eledobleu

Truck went into paint shop today. Had a deep scratch on the drivers side bed that I knew needed to be fixed. Having the tailgate re-painted and emblems removed. Also PDR for the whole truck.

Stopped by the paint shop. Decided to go ahead and put flares back on the truck. You could see a line on all 4 fenders where they were previously installed. Should have it back by Friday.

Love how it turned out. My tires look even smaller now. CMC at @sdhq_offroad in two weeks and new shoes shortly after.

Sooo about 1.5" of lift up front?? You will probably have some rubbing issues, the severity will depend on your current offset. I know stock pros are cramming 35s and they're 2" up front.

Well not a great week. Got my headlights from @eledobleu and they were broken. UPS has been no help. I really don't get how I can pay all this money for headlights and it becomes my issue to deal with because of poor packing and mis-handling from UPS.

The hits keep coming. Tried to put on the RB10's only to find out the dealership stripped 6 of the 8 bolts on the drivers side. Going to try to re-tap them this weekend. Passenger side looks great though. Very happy with the fit and finish.

I ended up going to discount and having them test fit a set of 34". Had to move some plastic but I was pretty happy with the fit. Went with the Cooper ST Maxxx's. Getting them put on in about an hour. It's like Christmas morning.
