    Hi.
Ok so I’ve towed close to 25k miles cross country total with my Tacoma. (Brake controller and 4th gear and ONLY one rebuilt tranny)

Presently in CT headed to AZ/California for two months then Florida.

This trip trailer is 6x12 single axle/brakes 3,500lb trailer. (WC Fastrac)

I know the Tundra won’t feel it back there but... any tips-suggestions for 1st Tundra pull are appreciated.

Thinking hit tow/Haul and just go!

    Thanks
    -NoMoTaco

be careful with tow/haul when in traffic or when waiting at a light. I usually just use it when trying to get up to speed while towing......instant torque at a stoplight can whip you back a bit.

    Tow Haul and go.

Make sure trailer bearings are good, take one set of bearings, grease, bulbs, etc.

    Have a great trip!

    Thanks for replies!!

Trailer is set up for work so it has tools, generator, compressor, lights etc. plus has 3 year road assistance warranty.

Reminds me. Gotta sell this next year lol. Warranty is over

Thank you again for peace of mind!

It cannot possibly be any worse than Tacoma pulling 5,500lbs and the aquarium size tank.

    9mpg with that trailer
    10.5 with present trailer

Guessing Tundra 11-11.5 mpg. We shall see!

Yeah and the crazy thing is that folks in Scottsdale probably think 73 is somewhat chilly.....

I towed an enclosed 7x12 tandem axle loaded to 6200lbs from Mississippi to Seattle, then made the same reverse trip. I have the stock brake controller and had no major issues.

As previously stated, hit the Tow/Haul button and she’ll do great. I kept my truck in S5 for most of the drive. Ran about 2200 RPMs the whole way, except up hills/mountains.
