So I finally got the Trd Pro Dual exhaust installed by the dealer and I’m very happy with it! I originally ordered the Flowmaster outlaw catbacks with black tips but canceled at the last second after reading a lot of threads on here. I did contact dirtydeeds and he was very knowledgeable and helpful but in the end decided to just have the dealer install their product. I am happy with it just wish it had a tincy bit more rumble but again I’m very happy with it. Considering the CAI next because I read it might enhance the sound and that’s really the only benefit??? Any thoughts?

That's awesome. I think you made a great decision.

I have a love/hate relationship with the OEM quiet exhaust.

Haven't quite made up my mind if I want it to stay quiet or want a nice rumble.

I have little ones, I tow occasionally, and now I can start it up in the garage without waking anyone...

Yes I agree I literally changed my mind after reading numerous threads on here and went with the OEM because of it. I didn’t want to piss off my neighbors or give my kids headaches but to be honest I was expecting just a little more rumble but I’m still happy with the purchase.

Not that it matters but just to clarify, I meant the single exit stock OEM exhaust that comes on all the models other than the TRD Pro.

I haven't changed from that setup yet. If I do, it will be the TRD dual setup you went with or the 8" BAMuffler.

I certainly like the looks of the TRD duals besides the sound!

If you really want that little extra rumble, switch to Tow Haul mode and put your foot to the floor. ;) But only where it's safe of course.

Nice looking truck! Great choices. What else can we help you spend money on?
I believe that dual exhaust is one of the nicest sounds there is.

Love mine. Give it a couple hundred miles to break in. It gets better with age - like a fine wine. It also sounds much better in beast mode, IMO.

I love my TRD duals. I got the K&N intake and it pairs really nice with the exhaust.

Love my TRD exhaust! Pretty quiet when just cruising around town but can sound angry as hell when you stomp on the gas pedal.:burnrubber:

I have the Flowmaster Outlaw. Yes it’s loud and can give you a headache on long drives. But I love the sound and the rumble. I also bought it to get back at my neighbor who drives a 2015 BMW M3. He’s always revving his car every time he leaves and comes home. I think he’s trying to annoy me. By the way he is not a friendly man. If you guys haven’t heard the new M3 personally I think it sounds like a lawn mower.

I’m ignorant as far as this goes. What are the benefits of adding dual exhaust? What kind of money are we talking about?

benefits of the TRD duals is less bottom end power, great looks and a decent subdued rumble. sounds great when you get on it. just a touch more than stock at cruise.

    See fine print
You wont lose bottom end if you go with a @dirtydeeds dual.

I have the Flowmaster Special 50. Nice rumble but not obnoxious. Was going to have dealer install TRD with purchase but changed my mind when I went from TRD OR to TSS. I wanted black tips not chrome. Spent savings on other mods.

Heck yeah! I had Toyota do my dual exhaust also. Definitely worth every 12,000 pennies. You're just warming up. Wait until you hear about other mods that gain peak performance. Merry Christmas Sean!

I’m also a fan of the TRD exhaust. I was looking for a little more rumble/power and decided to aFe Magnum CAI. Certainly adds some torque and when you step on it you can really hear a difference. I don’t hear the CAI much around town, but as soon as you get on the gas and open it up you know it’s all there. Manufacture claims +19hp and +27 ft/lbs torque.

I love my TRD dual exhaust. I love the sound when starting up my car. The drone is pretty settle and not that bad. Depending on how you drive you can drive it pretty quietly, but when you step on the peddle you really hear the sound of it. It’s nice to hear the v8 sound of the truck. My wife thinks it’s the best mod I’ve done with the truck.

Aaaannnnddd.... Checkmate. That is one nice mower. I traded a Tundra for this lawn clipper then back to Tundra 2 years later. The 535 was super nice just wanted the room back. This is a 2011 w 50k miles and pic was Feb of 2017 right before trade in.
