Got a 2018 Limited Crewmax last weekend. With all the extras the dealer had put on it combined with what the distributor added at the port sticker was over $52K. We got there at 11AM and it was 3:pM before they started talking numbers and I was pissed by that point and knew they had not moved a vehicle since I had been there. I offered them $44K and and told them I wanted a additional $3000 over KBB value on my trade which was a 2016 tacoma limited. After a lot of arguing and me not budging they took it. Deals are out there if you walk on the lot at the right time.

Just so everyone knows taxes differ in every state. So the best way to compare prices is to say what the sticker price is and what the price you paid with all dealer fees BEFORE taxes. Trade ins get tricky as some states only pay taxes on the difference in price between the vehicles and also the fact that they can really change the numbers around to make it sound like your getting a great deal.

+1, MSRP and discount off is the only thing that helps others. Dealer and doc fees vary too. Also better deals at end of month are easier to negotiate. When I bought my Taco I wanted to pick it up on weekend. It was the 30th and they said what can we do to get you to pick it up tomorrow? I told them and they said yes. Probably could have asked for more but already had a great price.

My 18 limited double cab was 41,600 before taxes. Included packages: 4x4 TRD off-road, limited premium package, heated mirrors, all weather floor matts. Exhaust tip. I forget what else.

They gave me 1,500 less than what I was hoping for on my Tacoma though.

I feel like I got a good deal but seeing what other people paid makes me feel like I got just an average deal.

You have to look at it in your location and stuff too. If they are hot in your area they wont come off like in other areas. Im in the heart of Chevy/GMC country. I get looked down on for buying a toyota around here.

hello... new guy here. I've been offered 42k for a 4x4 TRD Sport CM or 47k 4x4 Platinum Crewmax. Taxes are 700 or 900 for me since I'm trading in a taco for 33k plus those additional doc fees and etc. MSRP on both was 48k and 52k. What do you guys think I can get it for? I plan on starting the negotiations on Tuesday. Thanks!

I would go to dealer today ask for best price then no matter the price walk out. Tell them you have to think about. Go home and wait for phone call. This might work if they have truck on lot. Other than that wait for truck month and see what rebates do

Negotiated with at least 6 toyotas and two of them 4 hours away, which I wound up purchasing in Tampa when I live in Miami. Even though I had the quote with me, no one in miami wanted to match! Closet I found in MIA was not including the accessories 500down/630mo.

looks like about $7k under MSRP is a good target for 18's if you take your own financing. My '18 Platinum ($55k MSRP) will be 48k with the $1500 Toyota incentive or 49.5k with the 0% for 60 financing option

Man those are awesome prices! I am negotiating a 2017 CM Platinum right now, and at 7k off MSRP they tell me they are losing money. I am either being lied to or a lot of Toyota dealerships are losing money :)

I purchased my 2018 SR5 black out at $37,200 and out the door at $40,000. Don't let them tell you you can only get the deal with rebates. Those rebates are for them only. When you use their rebates, they get that money back to them. Yes it helps you, but it helps them more as well. Use KBB and truecar for pricing. I never read to step foot into a dealership to negotiate, I told them through email or text messaging only. I told them others had better pricing so they could out bid one another. This method saved me lots of headaches and time. Watch videos on how to negotiate or read articles. They also have this thing called holdback that they make money off from. It's 2% from the msrp or invoice I believe on Toyotas.

2017's should be a good bit less than they quoted you. I was seeing $8-9K off the 2017 Limited and Platinum
