Does anyone happen to know which hoses are for what on the power steering reservoir? I was messing around under the hood today and slipped and my fat ass broke the barb for the small hose and now the truck isn't driveable. Toyota wants $218 for the hose and it's non stock. Was hoping I could find a good used reservoir around here somewhere. I can confirm its the same reservoir from 2013-2017.

Since you are close to my location:

    Whistler bearing

Parker Store (this is where I would go)

    Empire fluid power

    Motion & Flow

I'm at work, and might be able to get the ol' hose crimp out. I have some spare parts for my jeep build and have universal hydraulic hose fittings and could make you one.

Any chance you know the size or can read the hose size? What kind of fitting?

It's the stupid plastic barb on the reservoir. If there were enough barb left I'd crimp the hose back on and call it good. My luck it seems to have broken with little of nothing left to cinch down to. I'll grab a photo real quick and post it.

It's the one with the hose clamp on it with no tension because I broke a solid 1" off the plastic barb. I'd be fine with just replacing it, but this is the wife and kiddos transportation back and forth to doctor's appointment's and such. The dealer says they can have it Tuesday for $218.

Just ordered from rockauto. $94 and that included next business day shipping. Thanks for the replies. Hope it didn't lose too much fluid...

Well that just sucks. Junk yard time. New reservoir and you should be good to go.

That is some good news , you found the replacement. Post some pics of the finished product of your build.

i would get rid of that garden hose clamp and use a spring clamp instead! like the one next to the screw hose clamp in your picture.

Sorry for digging up old thread. Did you replace the reservoir? Any issues after?

Yes, it was replaced and has worked fine since. No issues to report.
