(More than 17 bucks ) I can see again!f1bf66a2a892f2b6e0f448043859e3ad_5604071ce864c07bdcd007039b743e48eb6d8f5d.jpg79498828327d935bf52d8c462851bd8e_c128c86867be470b7b69f7be1fd76136b44ecdfd.jpg1a3d821a00c0e74c762753c524f945a6_584bc7c462d2d8715e1a6e90d608d64896c496c6.jpgd66b57e2b18ed36bc30290ea126d7374_40be8ca463b6d6be274fc7aa229c7d0ad9204018.jpg

Just installed a underglow kit on my truck, comes with an app you can change the colors on.

Came out of work to a cracked windshield...Just in time for the state inspection this month. It's not line of sight so I'm hoping it'll pass regardless.beef1bf42dbef0421aa9b713d4699736_d372d25ee91df6ed6a65d611ddaf0f843e70bdf9.jpg

Good luck, hope you get by. I'm sure glad California doesn't require those, all they ask for is money and then you're good to go. With the amount of vehicles here in the golden state, maybe it would cost too much to do all the inspections. Chunk.

It's really not a terrible thing IMO, hassle sometimes yes. There are a lot of people who will do nothing to their vehicles maintenance wise so at least once a year they steering, brakes, and tires checked. Some places will nitpick but most independent mechanics are pretty reasonable.

Found a used SnugTop Super Sport on craigslist. Had Yakima racks added. I would have preferred the Rebel, but I'm happy. I have a BedRug on order.

Cleaned up the headlights and added new bulbs. I've used several headlight restoration kits over the years. I used the 3M kit on theses and its by far my favorite so far.

Also installed a Kenwood DDX9703s yesterday. I broke the mic wire because I'm an idiot, so have a new one plus a Boyo VTL375HD camera on the way.

Also started painting some of the trim. Will post pics of that when its back on the truck.

I found an passenger access door (same color) on craigslist, but cant get the guy to respond. Probably means that its sold. :(

Replaced the starter and starter relay today on the 02. The engineer that designed the 4.7L should be shot for putting the starter under the intake manifold instead of down on the side of the engine. Got it done in 5 hours with some help from a buddy.

2nd time I have, 3 time the started has been changed. I did it 7-8 years ago, the remanufactured starter failed after a month, then I had my mechanic change it. The first time I did it, it took about 8 or 9 hours with help.

I see, my 04 still running on the original one. It may be a inconvenience to get to it, but I feel that it’s not as exposed to the elements being under the manifold. Who knows how much that helps

Started my rear seat delete Yesterday. Still need to get some carpet and insulation. The panel is done though. I made a cardboard template and transferred it to 1/4 inch plywood.

Found some FJ wheels on craiglist. Had them powdercoated satin black and threw some KO2 275/70/R16s on them. Also added some EGR fender flares. Still deciding on what to do with the center caps. I have some color match paint on order. We'll see.

Oil pressure is supposed to change with engine RPM. It's going to be pretty low at idle.

Built a platform for the dogs. Two piece, plywood, cheap indoor/outdoor carpeting and cheap anti-fatigue mats for padding from homedepot.

Two toned the center caps to match the wheels and the color of the truck. Went back and forth on the Toyota emblem. Thought about painting it satin black but decided to keep it chrome.

Carpeted and insulated my plywood panel. It isn't bolted in yet since I ran out of time. The carpet was more of a charcoal than a grey, but it looks good enough for me.

My friend with an 06 AC sent me this pic of his sub enclosure. Pretty slick.

Finished my rear seat delete...for now. Removed all the seatbelts and added D-rings to 5 of the mounting bolts. I have some quick-fists and a Molle webbing/pocket piece on order. I plan to mount that stuff and a replace all of the bolts with black he head button screws for a cleaner look.
