Gave her a quick bath, and removed my side bed rails and pressure washed the bed in preparation for my tonneau install when it arrives.

    Thanks.

Took about 4 hours but I was taking my time. A big help was using a spring clamp to hold the tightened tread as I went along.

What tonneau are you getting? I'm just starting to look at them. Leaning toward a soft, three fold type at the moment.

    I went with a Bakflip F1

I like the flush fit tonneaus better than the ones that sit on top of the bed, but I didn't want to lose any bedspace like the roll up ones do.
I'm plan on running the drain thru the hole in the bed that is already right next to the Bak drain tube instead of running it to the plastic "plug" on the back wall.

    Installed my tonneau today.

I got it from Bakflip. Took advantage of early Black Friday deal via chat feature on their website. They knocked over $100 off.

I finally finished my build, installed a JL Audio 12Tw3 with the box JL Audio makes for it (CS112LG). It’s hooked up to a JX500, I used an LC2i to keep my factory head unit and eliminate the bass roll off - man it was worth every cent. For my needs, the one 12” booms and hits when I want it too, I can make everything rattle or be as quiet as I need with the bass knob so it’s perfect for when the wife and kiddos are riding a long

I searched and searched all over the internet for a review on a 07-13 Tundra with this set up and couldn’t find anything. It was all the 14+ crowd upset cause they couldn’t fit it with their fixed rear benches. So I’m here to say, it works and it works VERY well. Obviously a custom box would allow you to not lose any clicks, but the sub is $350 and CarToys has a sale on the box, sub and JL grill for $370. For me $20 and a couple clicks lost was completely worth the time I’d have to use making a box (and it wouldn’t be half the quality of the box JL’s CNC machines make).

Best part is, I only lost a couple clicks and it fits all nice and clean. JL also makes a truck wedge version which would prolly save even more room, but it’s $420 and no one carried it locally.

    Here’s the final look...

Made the maiden voyage with the TuRD and the Goose! Only went about 1/4 mile from driveway to back barn gate, but she did fine! Lights all work, brakes work, Plenty of room to maneuver!3483DE33-74CE-4510-A573-D836992F4B1A.jpg

This just happened! Bought one! Time for some different wheels and tires.

2010 Tundra, 4x4 Crewmax, Platinum Package with 106k miles. Has a few upgrades like the color matched shell, pre-wired for VHF/UHF (Previous Owner was a HAM enthusiast), home-made drawers. This truck was never off-road and has been babied minus a few dings/scratches. I'm very happy with the price I paid (below market value). Anyone want the Chrome steps? They are 100% coming off.

Huge thanks to @boardude for looking some options in AZ for me. It really helped knowing details on trucks that I couldn't just drive 15min and see. I somehow ended up finding something local but really really appreciate the help narrowing down the right truck and discussing the right choice. I owe you some beers next time we cross paths.

Congrats on finally finding one Bailey. You're gonna love it.

Yeah, @boardude seems like a great guy. Hope to connect with him some time for a beer.

Was that one here in Tucson?

Edit: Nevermind. I see you said you found it local to you.
