    35" Toyo A/T tires, Black Rhino Gunmetal wheels, 2" bilstein lift kit and 2" ready lift leveling kit, recon headlights, leer canopy, custom 3" piping with 40 series flow master muffler.
    487BA57F-182A-4F34-AB9A-F60E59338DC3.jpg I just picked up this 1983 Toyota Pickup and plan to make it a rad drift truck. Anybody have any info on it? $400 and some skis was the deal.     Nice. Carbureted 22R single cab long bed. No power steering.
    • 1981–1983: 2.4 L (2366 cc) 22R SOHC I4, 98 PS; 97 hp (72 kW) at 4800 rpm and 175 N⋅m (129 lb⋅ft) of torque at 2800 rpm

    Depends on what you are looking for in the truck.
    Ignition, distributor and carburator could always be upgraded. for better performance.
    I recall their being a swap of the head of a 20R onto the 22R for added power. Not sure on this one though.

    ahh flashbacks, I had an 81 with the 22R, biggest lil motor they put in small trucks back then, awesome drag racing truck back then against other foreign pu's!
