    Hello,

I am picking my truck up from the dealer today and I always check it out after picking it up from service. One area I always look at is the oil filter to see if it looks new because they actually changed it. Is the only way to check to remove the access panel in my TRD skid plate or is there an easier way for me to look?

    Thanks,

It's a cartridge filter so you would have to remove the filter to see.

So the outside doesn't look like this? IMG_5756.jpg

I usually just look to see if it's new.

Sorry for the potentially obvious question.
