Hey all, if this is in the wrong place moderators please move.

Is $46,500 a good price for a 17 Platinum CrewMax 4X4? I'm still looking, and while an 18 would be nice, if I get a great deal on a 17 I'll take it. LED hmmmm, good but I can pass on it for a great deal and add PIAA LED H4 LOL.

I see from your profile you have a '17 Sierra. I was on the fence between a Tundra and a Sierra before I bought my Tundra, so I'm just curious as to why you're now buying a Tundra?

On the price, I think that would be just a decent deal in my region (Pacific NW), so I'd wait to hear from some more guys East of the Mississippi.

    Good luck on your purchase!

Just be glad you didn't buy the Sierra and have to deal with the 8-speed transmission. Got you on waiting for more responses.

LOL, well PIAA only has bulb type listed up to 2016. When the time comes and the truck is in my possession it'll be too easy to see the correct type. Pull bulb out, purchase replacement LED if available from PIAA. Did it in my 2012 Titan, works great for what it is but $$$$ even on Amazon.

    Thanks for your service.

It’s been a long time since I priced my truck. It can’t hurt to check with all the dealers in your area and see what they can offer.

You can always update the headlights if the deal is great.

Good luck. Sorry you aren’t happy with the GMC.

Usually when looking for a vehicle I use Kelly blue book and then look at what the trade in value of the vehicle is and go off of that price since it’s the lowest

That depends on what the MSRP is on the 2017, a Platinum can range from just under 50K up to almost 54K depending on options. Just to put things in perspective, when I bought my 2018 Limited I was also offered a 2017 1794 for about 5k below MSRP plus military rebate plus 0.0% financing. I opted for the more expensive 2018 Limited to get TSS-P and LED headlights.

Better then what I got a few weeks back, what options are on yours!

BELOW IS THE INVOICE ON THE WHITE LIMITED 4 X 4 WITH THE BED LIGHT I WILL SEND ANOTHER WHEN THEY ADD THE SPRAY IN BED LINER PRICE I BELIVE WILL BE 395

SO THE INVOICE WOULD BE 50262 YOUR PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT AND REBATE 47262. PLUS TT&L

He said his MSRP was $52,534.00

Lane departure, fwd collision, sunroof, and I believe everything else is standard not sure though. It does have the running board not the tube type, but no bed liner. If I was still military I would have gotten another $1,000 off but since my retirement is outside the 1yr mark I no longer qualify. I retired 1 Dec 2016 lol

A couple weeks ago I was quoted $44,500 for a 2017 black Platinum. I don't remember the msrp.

That's a good price for my area. Most are about 50k here. When i was bought my platinum it was a 15 I got in November of 16 with 18k miles, the sticker was 42, I got it for 40. They had a new 16 for 50 and a new 17 for 52

You should be able to negotiate the price further. I bought my 2018 4x4 white platinum with sunroof and running boards for $46,995 msrp of $52,760.
I added the dual exhaust, TRD sway bar, and the skid protector.

Here’s where I thought I got a good deal until days later I checked one of my emails more carefully, another dealer offered the same 2018 white platinum with TRD skid plate, air filter, sway bar, dual exhaust for $47,138.

So I basically paid $2k more than I should of.

Just got to shop around. Some are willing to negotiate and some will not budge.

Sticker is $50,130 before options. What that guy got was at least $1,000 under invoice. That sticker doesn’t include destination, And fees..
