    Hey guys,

One of the first things I did when I got my Tundra was ordered a set of Weathertechs for it. I've had them before and love them but so far, not loving them in the tundra.

The front drivers side is great but the front passenger moves around a bunch. I know it came with some hold downs but they didn't look very good. Any of you use them? How well do they work and hold up?

What I was really wondering is there a way to get the factory hold downs that are on the driver side and use them with the Weathertech on the passenger side?

Also on the rears, they stay OK but I've noticed while you are trying to get in, your foot can hit the edge and pull it up and you can kind of trip on it. I was thinking about tucking the ends under the door sill plates? Looking at it, I realize I will have to cut some holes in the mat to allow the door sill plate to reinsert correctly but that's not a big deal I don't think?

Um. I don't want to be a downer... and I don't have Weathertechs. However, after reading a ton on this forum, I know that to get the best out of Weathertechs, you gotta get rid of 'em and get Husky instead. I hope you hear differently from someone else.

I have the WTs and love them. I know what you mean about your foot catching the end and bending it up though. You could try taking them out and laying them upside down with something heavy on the edge to help them form better.

My passenger side does move but isn't an issue. I found the rear oem works well and the WT would need cut up for the ESP under seat storage. For the front driver side, I'm not happy with them and will recommend a diff brand. My dead pedal and bottom plastics are exposed, no protection from going from sand, mud, snow, or clay straight to the truck. After time, im sure that the dead pedal carpet will wear through down to the metal floor board.

I velcro the passenger side and haven't had any issues. If you have them already do that and try to make them work before you sell them and lose money.

I will try the plugs that came with them or the velcro thing but I'm not selling them and buying Husky's. This is my 3rd set of WT's and the only one I've had issues with and those issue are pretty minor. Well the back is anyway. The front is an issue because it slides on my GF as she tries to get in sometimes and I'm afraid she going to end up busting her ass (or worse) one of these days.

I wish I could get the factory hold downs like what's on the Driver's side. Wonder if that is something Roman can get? Will have to check with him.

I have WT's front and rear in mine and added the Velcro to the passenger side. It sort of works but would probably work better had I used more aggressive Velcro. The rear fits great but there is an edge that can be caught and pulled. I can't say that they've been an issue for me though as I'm usually the only one in the truck.
