2018 Tundra - Who has one?

Where did you get your color matched bumper ends, Roman has them not painted now so I'll have to find a shop that will paint them! I should have bought them earlier when he sold them painted!

 

Unfortunately I got everything from Roman...mirror caps, handles, bumper ends, grille and bulge...along with several other goodies

 

I was going to but he only sells the unpainted ones now!

 

Not being able to order the painted ones, almost makes me want to go out and get a 2018 Platinum them would only need handles and mirror caps!

 

Don't buy into the hype. My company has 5 dealerships (commercial trucks) and each had a Nitrogen machine. Many of us used to fill our tires all the time with it. I never noticed a difference in fuel consumption and they still leak down. Maybe not quite as fast as air but you still lose pressure when they sales guys said it would hold it.

Not worth it. Just check your tires with regular air more often and you'll see the same benefits IMO.

 

Picked Mine up today! I’ve always just bought off the lot. The 4 week wait for delivery was well worth it.

 

heading out tonight to go pickup the 2017 BBP Platinum at 5pm. finally came in last night after being stalled in Dayton's bluff, mn railcar offload location since the 16-nov.

 

Thinking about putting in a trd pro grill assembly in my 18... anyone know what happens if you remove the safety shit what will happen? Will I get constant error codes?

Can't you disable the features of TSS and then it wouldn't matter? Just asking.

 

That's a gorgeous truck right there! I think MGM is the best looking color on the platinums, followed closely by super white. I'd have sprung for a platinum if they offered it in cement.

 

Thank you, I was between the Grey and White. I’m happy with how it looks as I hadn’t seen a MGM Platinum prior to ordering it.

I'm pretty sure most people order them from @Roman at Toyota of Cool Springs. I haven't ordered anything from him (yet), but it sounds like he's the go-to guy.

well here it is just before doing the paperwork.

price before trade in and misc fee's and bed cover was $47,796 (which included 1250 rebate) on msrp of 53,130. bonus was I can come back and get a Toyota platinum extended warranty 96m/100k for $1355.

have to recheck the window sticker as they added "tundra" door sills and exhaust tip that wasn't in the original deal. the price was 53,130 for only moonroof, paint protection film and the plain running boards (KG). so it may look like I got those for free.

 

You can but it resets every time you start the truck.

 

Finally!!....replaced my 2010 Tundra SR5 crewmax

 

What kind of fender flares are those? Were they a bolt on, or a sticker one?

Custom painted parts are no longer offered from Toyota of Cool Springs. Above thread has been updated to reflect this change.

 

I think in most states that is the max for fronts. Not sure about Alabama laws these days. When I was spending time up there they had no safety inspections and you would see people with tinted windshields and limo tint on the front sides.

 

Here is South Carolina, the law is 35%. But, I've had several Tacoma's, I had those tinted 5% in the side windows and rear windows, that was in my younger days. My wife drives a Tahoe, it has 5% on all windows except the windshield. Around here, if you don't act like a dumbass, they never say anything about it.

just to add, the window sticker do NOT have the oem exhaust tip or the door sill plate covers. so i got them for free. pics below ...

edit : nevermind, didnt realize they were std with the platinum.

 

and forgot to add, for those that are interested in cheaper high quality vinyl inserts for the tailgate "TUNDRA" lookup http://stores.ebay.com/tacomavinyldecals, he sells them for about $22 shipped. i have used them on the 2016 tacoma and they are very hardy and stand up to -20F temps and multiple car washes and not one has peeled or bubbled in 2yrs on the tacoma.

he sells other colors besides black, just ask for other colors. i ordered white for the BBP tundra to match the white ones i had on the 2016 tacoma.
