    AZ Peeps,

    My family and I are spending five days in Sedona during Thanksgiving.
    I will have two days for some wheeling. The first day will be spent checking out Indian ruins.
    I was planning to stop by the Palatki Ruins. Any others within driving distance that we should plan to see?

    With one day left to wheel, what’s a must do run in Sedona? I was thinking Schnebly Hill or??
    I’m looking for something with a little challenge but mainly looking to enjoy the views.
    My Dad will be joining me in his lifted Wrangler.

    Broken Arrow is a good short trail.

    Not to hijack a thread but doing the same thing around thanksgiving....Any concerns with Stock height TRD Pro going through the above mentioned trails. Was hoping to have my sliders on by the time i head out but looks like they won't be ready til Dec. Should I consider this a deal breaker?

    You could probably make it, but you'd likely do some damage; however, I have seen a stock Lexus LX SUV on the trail (more money than brains) lol...

    @Stewie
    check out: https://www.alltrails.com/us/arizona/sedona/off-road-driving

    The trail difficulty ratings are fairly accurate. Greasy spoon has a couple technical parts, but some fantastic views. If you can swing it, try to run Broken Arrow just before dark. There's an overlook section that is amazing to see when the sun is going down.

    OR: If you're looking for speed instead of technical, check out the Cinders up in Flagstaff, its only about a 45min drive from Sedona. There's a bunch of trails and some open fields of volcanic ash that are a blast. I did those almost completely stock.

    @TRON, @PLC721, any other suggestions?

    @Help Pretty much covered all of my suggestions, just will have to be cautious of your rear bumper in parts of Broken Arrow

    Before I head out to stuff myself with turkey, I wanted to share a few photos of my trip.

    On Monday, we drove Schnebly Hill. The drive was very easy and we passed several SUVs coming down from the Vista. The views were amazing!!

    The photo above was from the Vista.

    On Tuesday, we did a train ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad. My son is really into trains, so this was an obvious choice for us.

    This pic was taken at Perkinsville, which is now abandoned.

    Wednesday we drove out to see the Indian ruins and finished up the day in Jerome.

    Today we ran Broken Arrow and the Oak Creek Homestead.

    Taken on the cap rocks before descending the Staircase. Didn’t get any photos coming down the stairs but it was awesome!!!
    I figured since it was Turkey Day, we wouldn’t encounter to many people and certainly not the dreaded pink Jeeps. I was wrong.

    Then we finished up at the Oak Creek Homestead.

    Thanks again for all the recommendations in this thread. There is so much to do and see here, one week is not enough.

    Now to plan the return trip!!!

    Nice!. I ended up only doing Schnebly on my way to my second camp spot for the trip. It wasnt too bad....just bumpy coming out if Sedona. Had to go through some sections faster than i wanted to due to the constant jeep tours and side by side traffic.

    Punked out of the other trails fearing the possible damage. Will be back with sliders and maybe a little more clearance (if i decide to ditch the TRD Pro suspension)

    Nice setup @point of impact! Did you ever head up to Jerome? We liked Jerome so much that we went back on Friday. I saw a cemet Pro driving thru town around noon.

    Thanks! Unfortunately we didn't make it to Jerome. The days just flew by and we git a little bigged down in town. There is just so much to see! We'll definitely be returning.
