08 DC Woofer Box Design

    I picked up a JL 8w3w 8" sub off of Craigslist and built this box so it could fit under the rear seat. It is kind of modeled after the JL stealthbox for the double cab but is a sealed box.. It is rear fired - pointed at the back of the cab. I will install it this weekend and will report back on how it sounds.

    running boards , TRD sway bar and tundra 08 SR5 wheels. FRACmod, pop&lock and backup sensors installed .
    looks good the JL is $700 ouch!

    Here you go. The sub is mounted to two bolts - one is the driver side seat bracket and the other is the seat belt bolt. You cannot see the sub unless the seat is lifted up.
