What Tundra grille part is this, and where can I find it?

I am in the midst of converting my '07 Tundra to '10-'13.

I currently have this bracket, circled below:

But what I need is this differently shaped bracket. I believe the shape changed in 2010 onward.

I've looked at the usual places and can't seem to find it isolated as a part.


Anyone have a clue without buying an entirely new grille?

ah man..I just threw mine in the trash few months ago.

 

There are two brackets you will need, since you already have the newer style grille. They are:

Was this ever resolved? I have the same problem - I cannot find that lower bracket. The part numbers referenced above appear to be the UPPER brackets that attach directly to the hood - I need the LOWER bracket that serves to reinforce the bottom of the grille. The older style is a one-piece unit that spans the entire length of the lower inside of the grille - not two separate pieces - and it is too short for the new grille.

 

Unfortunately the only way I was able to secure this part was to purchase an entire 2010-2013 grille assembly. They come pre-installed with them.

If you have the patience and ability, I would try a salvage yard first. it will probably be a lot cheaper and faster than waiting on a part.

Crazy.... I just came across this post. I just tried to mount my aftermarket Eag grille today and have the same problem. I just emailed sparksparts.com. hoping to get some info. Unfortunately closed til Monday i think. Really sucks no one mentioned this part at all. When I ordered the other brackets I would have thought somebody would have mentioned this is well

 

I had to figure I was not the only person with this problem. I am amazed I cannot find the part in the Tundra catalog. I will have to find someone who no longer needs their OEM grille, or comb the wrecking yards.....

Cheapest one I can find partsgeek.com Looks to have the bracket on it as you can see the 3 rubber bushings. Hate to do it. But if I sparks has nada going to have to get it

 

I was able to find someone local who sold me their 2011 grille for $40.
