That is part of changing the theme in the advanced system settings. It prompts you for a code when you select advance settings. Use 8861

I was asked if i minded sending in my OE HVAC unit for a couple weeks so the engineer can fix the HVAC issue. i agreed he will pay for shipping as soon as i get the shipping label i will send it in.
He also sent me this link for a firmware update i think its for themes
I had no luck installing this update til I realized it had to be downloaded onto thumb drive using internet explorer.

Yup I was asked the same request. 1971, what model Tundra? I have a limited, if yours is a Limited I may hold off sending mine in. 2 issues here, out of my money on what should have been a working HVAC out of the box and feeling like we are debugging/beta testing. I love the concept and a sucker for tech so I may hang in there in hopes they work out the HVAC issues, my main concern.

All here is my email to the seller/developer about HVAC:

    i.e.,

Clockwise on knob and pressing +

    Lo – 25 – 35 – 45 – 55 – 65 – 75 – 85 – 95- 105 -115 – etc. Hi

    Counter-clockwise and pressing –

    Hi – 115 – 105 – 95 – 85 – 75 – 65 – 55 – 45 – 35 – 25 – etc. Lo

And to work as you turn the knob clockwise or press + on display to reflect accordingly in bottom and HVAC display (squarebox).

…when you turn counter-clockwise or press – on display the temperature decreases accordingly.

While I had the unit out I was having a slight fitment issue with top bezel. I looked at the back and found 2 metal tabs on top and 1 on each side 20171116_111832.jpg 20171116_112034.jpg 20171116_111849.jpg i marked them with white paint to transfer where they were not fitting well and notched them out with my Dremel I also put 2 layers of painters tape on the 2 top tabs of the hu bezel so they would fit tighter.

Well, I think I will wait to purchase until they get the bugs worked out. Was thinking of upgrading the stock system, but at least it works.

I have to agree, I'm very happy with my HU. I'm still working out the bugs, which basically I'm customizing it to my own taste. I'm one of the lucky ones who hasn't had any major problems. I like the look and will modify the colors once I see the results from 1971sport. The sound is better than stock, and the internet is fast. I'm using MiFi through AT&T and have no problems with speed. I think theirs a lot of positives about this HU, but unfortunately the negatives are getting more air time....
