Trying to choose what kind of step bars that drop down. I need them for my 2012 Tundra with a 6” lift. Need easier access for the wifey. Would like to see pics please.

Lots o pix online. But look into the AMP power steps. If the default drop downs not enough, they sell extenders. Best of all, unless you are getting in and out, the steps turn into nice gravel guards.

NFAB 6 step. Loved the third step for easy access to the bed. Good luck.

for you amp powerstep owners, how well do they hold up under mild wheeling? i want something that tucks up out of the way and don't plan on pivoting off them on rocks but if it were to happen, how stout are they?

I looked into those - but take my truck off road in muck during hunting season, and was worried about debris catching hold of them or thick vegetation getting caught in them when you get in/out and then they tuck back under. Also wondered about ice build up in cold weather States. When you get snow and ice built up in those areas and it freezes hard in below zero weather does it bind them up? In the end I figured anything that is "powered" is going to break at some point - then whats the cost to fix.

Other than that I think they are cool as hell and add a high quality look.

Power steps equal powerful problems to me. Just more to fix. Just MHO
