Well since I attached my roll up bed cover to the bed rack. I snagged a nice backflip cover to have on it when the rack is not on. And I got a pulley system put up in the garage to store the RTT. My shop is goin to start rhino lining soon so until then I got the rack painted temporarily.

Well work has been slow and unfortunately, gave me time to looks at Upgrades for the PRO. First I got rid of my ICI front bumper(no winch). And replaced it with the DV8 bumper so I could get my smittybilt winch mounted up. And I also wanted to get a head start on wiring. Try to keep it clean before I add anything else and have a mess of wires. So I picked up a universal relay box pre wired and fused that also came with a switch. Got it hooked up and printed in the truck. Wired my front light bar and rear bumper lights for now. And it works great and price was very affordable.

Headed into winter time knowing the shop is goin to slow down and weather is fading i decided to knock out the last couple mods I have for the year. I had picked up an ATC bedslide off craigslist super cheap but it was for douple cab and I said you know i bet i could make it work and i did just cut 15in off each end and it bolted right back together and perfect fit and function.
    12D9C035-A070-4B1C-9AAF-973F176177B8.jpg 46A9D547-8219-41FD-B401-44179E9AA986.jpg
And naturally with a crewmax the lack of storage is always a problem so i snagged some seat cover and were red/black to match the interior.

I usually have a light bar mounted to the front bumper, but since i got the new one a light bar doesn't really fit the bumper style since is had 4 round fog lights, and i didnt like the look of 2 round lights on the front bar. So I decided to put one in the Hood bulge I've always liked the looks of them there. so I picked up a 32" single row bar and got it installed.

Now my last mod is obnoxious and fun. I decided to install a Hornblasters Outlaw Train horn kit. First off the kit is amazing, came with everything you need to install it and the quality is great. I installed the horns under the bed where the spare tire would sit(it was still factory spare and didn't fit the truck anymore). The compressor and tank that came with the kit work great, & I do plan on upgrading the tank/compressor at some point down the long road, so I can have accessory air control. I decided to mount it to the bed rail in the front i still have most access to the bed and its easy to get too. I ran the compressor to my stand alone relay box, so it will only come on when i want it too, I don't just go around blasting it.. Just don't cut me off. Now for the horns I ran power to them from the key/on trailer harness and I run ground up the frame to a relay toggle switch so It works with the factory horn switch.

it has an adjustable strap that comes around the bottom front of the seat back or that's at least how i connected it for now. I don't notice it sitting in the seat. I may look, it could probably be attached underneath to the seat frame somewhere.

I love it not going to lie. I am super impressed with the quality too and fitment is very good. And the price you cant argue with. I still keeps good ground clearance and open for larger tires.

Yea the new one definitely gave it a even better look. And don't worry, that's why we have these threads to share 1st hand knowledge and you can actually see how everything looks and fits. As for the go rhino rear bumper yea i love it too. I picked it out after some kid hit me while i was sitting at a stop light. got insurance to pay for it that one.

yeah ive been trying to do some research. I don't need a $2500 worth of bumpers, just enough to have some protection and look badass without breaking the bank. I think both of these bumpers do just that.

all together im looking front and back for around $900, don't know if it could get any better than that.

appreciate the feedback, badass tundra for sure. love all the custom fab, keep it up!

I had an extended holiday weekend so i was able to get some stuff done in the garage and to the Tundra. Well thanks to some sale prices I stumbled on the other day, it has finally come to upgrade the factory audio system. I have been wanting to for along time and it took alot of research for me to finally make up my mind & price was key so i kept this audio build at $450. I kept the stock headunit, it works great for me and does everything I need it to. I didn't need anything super crazy, just able to feel a little base and actually hear the music other that full volume. So for my set up i purchased the ********* factory amp interface harness and a LOC for the sub input using this harness I was able to go to the amp for the speakers using the High level input side. I went full Rockford Fosgate for amp, sub & speakers. Amp: R600X prime(5 channel), Sub: RS2-1X10 Prime sub with shallow box, Speakers: Rear-Prime R1525X2 & front- Prime R165X3 speakers from Crutchfield came with door & harness adapters. Overall install was simpe and didn't take much time at all. Super impressed with the sound quailty.
    IMG_0098.jpg IMG_0099.jpg IMG_0109.jpg

Next we got a wild hair at the shop, one of the other techs saw a custom headliner and wanted to do it to his, and I have seen it before and liked the idea but never pulled the trigger so we went in on it and got some supplies, headliner spray adhesive & roller and some fabric. Since I have the crewmax the headliner is super easy and comes right out the back window bout 20 minutes give or take. I really like it, made it a bit darker inside and now when i take my hats off in the truck I dont='t have to worry about getting grease and what not on the roof.
    IMG_0070(1).jpg IMG_0074.jpg

Gear and & the Bedrack startes taking up too much room in the garage and it was getting a pain to get the Z out if needed so I added some shelving(Leaf spring recall boxes) to hold some gear and make some room, and I already have the RTT hanging in the rafters so I wanted to put the rack on there too. It looks sketch but works the rack only weighs 50lbs and i hung on it just to make sure and some ratchet straps just to be safe.

Hey man, did you install your rear bumper yourself? I went and picked mine up, but I'm not sure about these brackets. The guy said they're right, but I don't know if I agree

Yea I installed it myself in the shop. The only fitment issues I had was the tailgate opening. This was fairly new bumper design when I got it was not supposed to fit with factory tow hitch. I had to trim about a inch off the lip that goes all the way across. I have heard by haven’t personally seen, that they have updated the bumper to work with the factory towing.

I've seen how they do it, they have a couple videos on YouTube.. but as far as the mounting brackets, the guy gave me, they don't make sense.

Yea that's not right, Did this come off another truck? and weirdly thos look like a mount for a front bumper instead of the rear. They could have sent you front bumper mounts by mistake

You should be able to get some. I dont see why they wouldn't sell you some, just say they were bent or damaged.

Just saw your build! how are the spacers doing? I've been wanting to widen my stance up front a little bit but didn't want to go get full 1.25" bolt ons

Those spacers did good, I had them for about 6 months, no issues, went off-roading, and on a vacation. never a problem. I have since put on the Methods and do not need the spacers at all.

I just did my best on centering it and then actually torquing the lugs just to make sure. the lugs for the pro wheels when into the wheel part and helps alot with centering you could always try some extended lo pro lugs from like gorilla or something to help get further towards the hub.
