Please keep this discussion safe for work. Trying to avoid customer's (or management) seeing conversations about P***S Pumps or D*** Measuring on a thread related to lights.

I'm all for having fun and joking around but this is a vendor thread that needs to stay Safe For Work.

I NEED better fog lights. My drive home from my jobsite over the last few weeks has been downright scary in the thick fog/rain. If I replace my OEM's with some squadrons (probably in amber) am I going to need to turn them off like high beams when I encounter oncoming traffic? Any chance you are going to come out with some SAE/DOT compliant lights like that other "R" company? @Baja Designs

Thanks for posting up! With our lights NOT being street-legal or DOT approved it will be up to driver discretion when ran on the street. The Squadron Sport, Pair, Amber Wide Cornering is the most "street-friendly" but still comes down to how they are aimed and driver discretion. At this time we are not working on a DOT light. You never know what we might add down the road! We are constantly looking for ways to improve out products.

The Pros will be double the output since the Pro is a 40W/4900 Lumen light compared to the Sport 20W/1800 Lumen Light. Here is a quick comparison showing just one light:

    Squadron Sport
    20W/1800 Lumens

    Squadron Pro

@Baja Designs I'm about to pull the trigger on some squadron pros in a wide angle.....I think. My ultimate goal is to do the squadron pros to replace the fogs and then the S8 white driving/combo in the hood scoop. Knowing that's the end result, do you suggest I go with a white or amber lense on the squadrons. I realize a lot of this is personal preference, but thought I'd get input straight from the source. I will be doing some desert driving, but mostly wide open roads that go between wide open and flat to lots of turns and mountains.

Do you encounter poor conditions like dust, fog, rain, snow, etc? If you encounter these conditions the Amber will offer reduced glare over the white and increased usable light in those conditions. If you are running these in Wide Cornering I'd recommend the S8 in Spot since you already have nearfield and partial midfield covered. The Spot pattern will go nicely with the Wide Cornering fogs giving you a great bend of nearfield, midfield, and distance.

Here is a video that should help you out. The standard mount and flush mount share the same housing. The main difference is the front bezel on the light:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPFTm9wUF_0

The S2 Sport is only available in a Black housing at this time.

    Mike,
Having some S2 PROS I can tell you that there is plenty of room behind your bumper as not to be too obtrusive or much exposure for anything to hit them. Great product with tons of useable light

Depending on when you purchased your lights they may be current. We started this transition in mid 2017 :)

I wish! We've used up all of the older circuit boards and have transitioned into the new stuff. No scratch & dent or blowout pricing.
