Hey everyone! Been lurking on here for awhile. I finally created a profile, actually thought I had one already lol. I am going to be paying cash for a used Tundra. Definitley want a Crew Max, 5.7, 3rd Gen. The 4x4 isn't 100% necessary, but I know the resale is always better with a 4x4.

Do you guys think there's more wiggle room on this truck? It's already 5K below KBB.

shiiit...i wish i would have found this kinda deal when i was looking. All used in my area were at kbb.

The rear window switch looks crooked.....does the dealer offer any kind of warranty?

I did a real quick search for around same mileage, tribe, and features. Seems to be priced fair. Once you hit $40k, there’s some real nice ones where the work has already been done for you.

Good price. The Carfax says it was involved in an accident within the last year, but doesn't provide any additional information.

May want to see if you can get accident details. If just a fender bender, no big deal and very good price...which makes me wonder about the accident. Same truck with clean Carfax and 78,000 miles has a sticker price of $30K where I live.

Thanks guys! I didn't notice the accident on the Carfax. Definitely something I can look into.

This was the response from the sales rep:

The carfax shows a damage reported but no accident,,
Here is the story the tailgating lights were stolen from the truck on the lot so they had to report the incident and for you to have a peace of mind those parts were replaced by Toyota genuine parts so no worries

    Does that sound reasonable?

Still a good talking point to get the price reduced further. I would use that to my advantage as a vehicle with reported damage is worth less. They must be having a problem selling it and that is why they reduced the price. On the other hand someone may come along and buy it now that the price is reduced.

It sounds like the kind of reasonable a dealer would say to get you to buy it. Any way for them to prove it?

My buddy had that same type of pitch work on him years ago, got the truck, went to sell it a few years later and that "minor cosmetic incident" was actually a major accident, cutting the value of his truck in half.

I think it is a good deal. The truck looks nice, has only one previous owner and most importantly has a complete service history from the selling Toyota dealer. I wouldn't worry to much about the damage report on the Carfax because in all likelihood you keep the truck for a good while. Also, most major body parts should have a VIN sticker on it so you know whether or not any sheet metal was replaced.

    2.5 leveled 20x10 -19 hostile sprockets w/ 305-55-20. And just getting started
seems like a decent deal. i bought a 2014 double cab sr5 with off road trim 74000 miles paid 26,000 for it. it also had minor accident damage report but no rolling collision, was hit in a parking lot.

I went to the dealership and it had sold earlier in the day. They tried selling me on a Titan and I kindly said no.
