Sort of a noob question but my research hasn't gotten me the answer I had hoped. I have a 2017 tundra with the TRD aluminum skid plate. When I go on the freeway or pass people (aggressive acceleration), I get this buzzing type noise I am assuming is reverberation from somewhere the skid plate mounts. It only happens in the higher gears and at a certain RPM range (around 4k-4500). I checked torque and am aware of the skid plate squeaks. I haven't heard those but definitely have a buzz my other tundra didn't have. I plan on dropping the thing and adding some sort of spacer or similar to see if that is the fix. Just wondering if some had similar issues that were fixed successfully. Anything else someone found to be the culprit? APPEARS to be more on the right side by the front tow hook...

I appreciate the reply. I thought it was for a squeak in general but I can look again. Either way the fix should be the same. Just wanted to make sure the consensus is actually skid plate before I crawl under and waste any time. It's getting cold up here in wisco!
