I am getting a new TRD PRO. My dealer found one that was available so I jumped on it. It doesn't come with a bed liner and that's pretty much the only option I want. The dealer says he can get me a spray in bed liner for $400 at their local shop. I called to learn more and it turns out they use Vortex bedliner. I have read some mixed reviews on this stuff. My question is should I go with the vortex or spend $100 more to get linex at my local shop?

Never heard of Vortex but can't go wrong with Linex. I'd do the linex

A little of this and a little of that.
LINEX! Go with what you know. You don't want to be kickin' yourself later about a liner that's basically stuck to the inside of your bed.

Thanks for the quick responses from what I have found about vortex online it can be easily messed up so I feel $100 is worth the piece of mind and the lifetime warranty. Now do I pick premium or standard linex? Another $125 for premium.

Well if I were you I'd go with premium, but since I'm not you you've got to make your own decision based on what info you gather. For something like a bedliner, definitely premium.

So I guess I forgot to update this thread but I got the Linex premium done back in April and it has held up great! I use my truck for truck stuff so the bed liner was a must. I would recommend it to anyone with a truck.

Agreed. I've had Rhino and Linex, and I like the Linex better. Looks better IMO and holds up better.

Thanks to this forum and all you well knowledgeable people, I was sure to ask the people doing my liner to remove the bed bolts, like the picture you have here. Glad I asked, otherwise they weren't going to, by default.

However, they didn't remove the little latches on the side, like in your picture. Hopefully that won't be a problem later in life.

I paid $600 out the door for the premium. I think it's generally a $100-$150 upcharge over the standard bed liner depending on where you go.

Line-X is awesome, but the preparation & application are really important.
Don't let the trainee spray your truck.

I got the LineX premium, OEM bed mat and tonneau tri-fold hard cover. The bed will probably last longer than the rest of the truck but it's nice to have that piece of mind it's well protected from cargo thrown in there and the elements.

I got the Linex Premium for just under $600 out the door. I pressure washed it a few days ago, and it looks good as new. I usually put a cover on it, but I had my tonneau off this summer, and the shine came back. Also, I had a lot of cement dust dry on the LineX as well as dirt. It all washed away. Very impressed.

That is good to hear. I have dried cement dust all over mine that I need to clean off. I'm waiting for the Christmas sales to get myself a pressure washer.
