Does anybody have any ideas or insights about what the December 2018 CrewMax/Platinum factory incentives might look?

I have been talking to a dealer about a Platinum that wouldn’t be delivered until mid-December, so they can’t offer the current factory rebate (which is $1250) in their quote.

If the December rebate is similar/better then it’s not a big deal, but I don’t want to put down a non-refundable deposit then end up with a crappier deal once the December incentives kick in.

Truck month in January usually brings out better incentives. My plan was to start getting quotes around the end of December and then wait to January to buy. Discount on 2017, price increase on 18, plus not being able to add Pro grille pushed me to buy a 2017.

No matter what and when you buy it for whatever price.........shortly after you bought it another better deal comes along.

I just bought a new 2018 Limited last week because I found exactly the truck I was looking for (color, options, etc.) so I got it before somebody else would. Maybe I could have saved a little by waiting another month or play dealers against each other, maybe not, who knows. Anyway, I am satisfied with the deal I got and didn't dicker a whole lot. The purchase experience was pleasant and I am on good terms with the dealership which means a lot to me. Sure, they made a decent profit but that is the way it goes.....live and let live.

I was also considering a 2017 but the adaptive cruise and the LED headlights were must haves for me because I had them on my previous truck.

prior to November the rebate was $750, after November its $1250. helped me since I now save another $500.

and the $750 rebate lasted a few months so I expect this one to go until jan-feb.

Yep, I could have pressured dealer for another $500. After getting multiple quotes along with submitting offers I figured I was close to bottom. I had one dealer lower on a TRD OR with a credit for steps and they were as low as they would go and max on trade. At that point I decided I probably had a good deal on TSS OR.
