To get a gravity or even a pump fed bed system for gasoline is not cheap due to the regulations. Here is a little bit on it from Transfer Flow and federal regulations regarding a Gas in bed tank.

    https://www.transferflow.com/regulations

I was looking into adding more range to my 12' Tundra, the Trasfer Flow 46 gallon tank was a joke to me at first. Then, after some research it came down to spending more money on a tank that takes up bed space, and I would still have to pump from the side of the road. Kinda made the convenience factor gone.

Another aspect to having a gravity fed system for gasoline is running around with a CEL on. That would not work for me.

In the end, the transfer flow 46 gallon tank was the best option.

I went with the Transfer Flow tank. I really haven't noticed a decrease in MPG. For normal driving I only fill it to about 1/2 - 2/3's to minimize the weight. Where it really shines is when I'm towing my camper, I don't have to constantly look for a gas station. Love it!

    I have a 3.5" lift and 35's.

I was curious what my best possible fuel economy would be so I drove a full tank at 62 mph on a long trip from Seattle to Spokane. I was shocked that I got an average of 17.1 mpg (calculated by hand), but seriously, who drives 62 mph unless the speed limit is 55? Am I right?

Im getting plus or minus 200 miles per TANK FULL in 4 x4 high all of the time. Just depends. Not running over 45 mph at most on the icy/snow packed roads. I don't look at any of the numbers on the gas pump. I do know that Its $3.37 per gallon up here in Alaska right now. Not calculating the mileage or the cost.,. Just need to filler up.
