    So question for you guys with these lights. Ur paying

    287x2=574
    Plug and play harness= 200
    Motor control=35

    So basically around 800 and thats not including shipping. Are they worth it? Why not a retrofit LED?

    I think they are worth it. You are getting oem sealed units which will outlast any retro. Retro will outshine it with light output but not in longevity. So it’s up to you what you want. If you want the brightest output per dollar get a retro. If you want oem quality units then oem!

    I got oem and don’t regret it.

    I think that is great advice.

    With that said I did my Retro myself and I don't regret it. At that time no one had any idea that the 2018 headlights would be LED.

    If I were to make the decision right now I'm not sure what I would do, I think I would be happy either way.

    I like the look and performance of the Retro, but I also really like the reliability of OEM LEDs. I haven't had any issues with my retro yet, but I know they can't be as reliable as the OEM LEDs.

    My retros are coming with new led projectors so might be better then the new Toyota lights being I don’t think they are in a projector housing

    Yes, LED to match the new LED headlights. Here is what they look like. Have to do the anytime fog mod now to run them with just the DRL.

    I have both the OEM LED and fog replacement and love em!! the motor control feature is sweet! When you're pulling a trailer and still want to daylight the road and not the oncoming traffic's face holes it's a must:quickdraw:

    @BlueBottle, can you share the part number for those orange lights in your grill; they look great! And do they look orange in person, or just in this pic?

    For those who are looking for a wiring harness for the 2018 LED headlights, I highly recommend IHacker’s harness. IMHO his harness quality is the best that I have seen on this site after researching all the different harnesses for my headlights. Everything is crimped and soldered perfectly. I’m usually OCD on quality but I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with his harness. His harness will dim the DRL with when headlights are on and fully bright when they’re off just like how the factory headlight operate. I paid $175 for my SR5 harness shipped. I didn’t have to splice any of the factory wiring as he provides a male pin to connect to the factory pin. The thing I like best about iHacker is that he quickly responds to PMs and answer all of my questions and concerns before and after the purchase. Totally happy with my purchase.

    I will move in that direction. I think Leo's harness doesn't dim the DRL.
