I emailed you earlier today through your website about HID retrofit before reading this thread. I am leaning toward a retrofit over the 2018 LED headlights - as I am interested in having the best (not necessarily the brightest, but the best functional night vision). Based on your comments here, it seems that you would go with LED retrofit over HID. On the other hand, if the HID are still brighter (and/or better in overall performance), would the RX350 be recommended over the LS460? That has me confused - if the RX350 is brighter than LS460, why is the LS460 more expensive? Thanks in advance for the clarifications!

    PROFILE BI-LED Projectors VS RX350

First I would like to apologize for the "not so perfect" pictures. Pictures were taken on a Nikon 5300 with 35mm 1:1.8G Lens, ISO=1000. These are projectors only with no fogs. It was kinda hard to get it to focus as its pitch black over here where I live. The light is coming from only one projector each.
RX350 Right (w/ Osram CBH bulbs and Denso Slim Ballasts)
    Profile Bi-LED Left

Its really hard to get 100% accurate pictures, but these are close enough. Through the naked eye, the
Profile LED has a really bright hotspot thats noticeable on the road. Great distance and width though not an even spread of light due to the hotspot. The cutoff is very similar to the RX350 but without the curve. Super clean and sharp with amazing color flicker. You may not notice on the pictures, but the Profile LED is alot dimmer than the RX350. I'd say about 30% dimmer. It doesn't have an even light spread compared to RX350. The RX350 has the best width, distance and light spread over any other projector. I compared it to the RX350 because ....why not? The High beam on the Profile LED is superior to the RX350.

    My Conclusion

Overall the Profile LED projectors really surprised me. Especially for the price, your getting an amazingly bright LED projector. These definitely compare with the
Mini H1 7.0 Projectors with Morimoto HID kit. Though I wouldn't trade my RX350's for them, these are the best LED projector for the price. I would definitely take these over the 2018 Headlights especially since its cheaper, brighter and customization. The MLED projectors should be about 10% brighter than the Profile. As soon as I receive the MLED projectors, I will compare them as well.

RX350 and LS460 are very similar in output. I prefer the RX350 due to its "bowed" cutoff which spreads more light on the sides of the roads. LS460 costs more because they come off an LS460 which is alot more expensive than the RX350.

Can you throw up some pictures of what the headlights themselves would look like?
Are switch backs still an available option under this setup?

    As you already know, I'm a lighting/electric noob. =)

How do the step of the MLEDs compare to the mini d2s 4.0? Is it as massive or is it smaller like the fxr 3.0?

I really like the dual LED DRL of the 18’ LED headlights. If it wasn’t for that, I would be all over the M-LEDs.

I emailed earlier today with pricing ?s but after reading thread in for sales section I think I figured it out. Tell me if this is correct for MLEDs in triple black:

    Light assembly - $650
    Core deposit - $300
    Color - $50
Total due at time of order - $1000 + shipping

How much is shipping to Dallas? or what is wait and package dimensions?

    • Price= $550 (color match paint $50 extra) Plus shipping
    • Shrouds Options = All except “Mini” or “Square”
Wanted to clarify some things for the MLed @eledobleu
Color match meaning my stock housing would be painted to whatever color i choose?
All other shroud options is included in that $550 price except the Mini or Square? How much extra would the mini or square shrouds be?

I'm leaning towards the mled after seeing the light comparisons thanks

The MLED Projectors are $550 not $650.
$50 is for if you want color match paint. Regular paint is included.
Core deposit isnt due until your retrofit is complete. Only the retrofit costs are due at time of order and in order to get on the queue for the core exchange program.

Color match means painted to the exact color code of your truck. Regular paint is included such as black. etc. Any special color paint would be $50 extra as well.
All shrouds included except Panamera DRL shrouds which is $70 extra. Mini and Square shrouds are not available for these projectors.

Have the MLED come in yet? Do you still plan on doing a comparison with those as you did with the BiLED?

Starting to think of these over the 2018 Tundra LEDs now

Tad cheaper, less work, more light, better cut off.

Which of the two options is closer in color to Baja designs LEDs? What housing color option(s) is the closest to the TRD Pro headlight?

This is what I am thinking too. The stock ones are too much money for lower output compared to these.

I am trying to get the M LEDs installed this weekend and running into some issues. I have low beam on both lights but only high beam on the passenger side. I have taken the driver side connections apart and reconnected but still no driver side high beam. Also, I am not getting any power to the Panamera DRL shrouds. I connected the PNP harness for LEDs but no power, the harness does not have a ground...just the fuse tap along with connectors to the DRL. Any suggestions?

Were you able to get this resolved? I have a set of similar MLEDs on order and am hoping I don’t run into the same problem.

I had the polarity wrong, so that was a quick fix. The DRLs were not working because I was sent the incorrect PNP harness...once I got the correct harness they were all set.
