Replaced the old Sun faded headlights today at the fire station. The old lady gets a pretty good discount so she's a driver there so it was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Headlights are drop shipped after ordering within 2 days. $57 a piece and the quality is OEM. Advance Auto also has a headlight housing that's also $140 a piece but I did not think that was necessary. These were a happy medium.

Even came with new bulbs I assume are Philips brand "Osram 55/60w Germany 9003"

    18 yrs....

Cut my teeth with the vollys and then went to work fighting fires at steel mills for a bit.
Had a job with the national park service doing it out in the woods.... that will keep you young and thin for sure. Fought fire in 98 down in Florida when it was declared a national emergency. Started having babies and momma said if have to stay closer to home.... 21 day stints for NPS was for single men so I got the Hobart gig.

    UPDATE

After installing the TYC brand lights from Advance auto I noticed the passenger side had snapped at one of the mounting points.... so I ordered a 2nd and installed it since the warranty is for a yea r or something.

A week later I went to install LED turn signal bulbs and found.... you guessed it.... the jive ass mount had snapped oat the same point as the previous light housing. IIRC, they run about $57 with shipping so this turd will get returned... directly.

May have to opt for the $140 housings with the lesser warranty
