Hello all. Just joined this forum so please forgive me if this has already been asked. I did search this (2000-2006) and did not see it. I Just purchased a 2005 Tundra DC TRD. It only came with one key and FOB. I purchased two new FOB's off of Amazon. I have searched the internet, plus the company that makes the FOB's, have tried every method I could find for just about every Toyota. I can't even get the truck in to programming mode. The original FOB works so I know it's receiving. The local Toyota dealer says it has to be done at the shop with a programmer. Anyone know if that's true? Thank you.

Okay, just to inform everyone as to why my truck would not go in to program mode. Turns out that my passenger side rear door lock actuator was not working. I just assumed that the action of pressing the Door lock button on the drivers door was all the computer needed to see to go in to program mode. Evidently it actually senses each individual door lock actuator operating. Since I had one door lock not operating, it would not all programming new remotes. I fixed that door lock and Wha-la, it works. Magic. The funny thing is, one dealership said it had to be done with their programmer and cost $100, the other dealership said "Bring it on in, I'll do that for free". He's the one that noticed the rear door not locking and said that's why it wouldn't go in to program mode. Pays to shop around!!

    Hello Guys,
I recently purchased a 2005 tundra access cab. It came with 1 key and no remote. I purchased a new remote through remoteremote.com but could not get it to program to my truck. I am able to get the truck to go into programming mode but the remotes are not responsive. According to the manual online the fcc

Have any of you had any experience with this?
    Thanks.
