Should be similar to where I live in Washington, I normally start hitting the hills hard around the 2nd weekend of March for elk sheds. 2nd weekend of February for deer sheds.

Yup, here in AZ we call it a citrus rat. They like to run around and eat the fruit off the citrus trees. Caught this one with the help of my dog and sold it to a local Chinese restaurant...LOL, joking on the selling they only do trades or store credit. ;)

Looks like a great week of hunting...that bull in the front looks like a good one!

Are these archery or gun already opened up there?

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
    Lucky!

I have 11 more days until the opening of bow season here. Last year we had some really decent deer on the trail cameras but we never harvested any (they always were on the camera in the middle of the night). Hopefully I can get one this year.

If anyone enjoys "Hunting Parody Music" just look up some of "BadBob & Jimmy's" albums. Funny stuff in there...

Hunted opening weekend no deer. Headed back to finish off the season tomorrow. Opening morn my Brother killed a lion at 30 yards. Weighed maybe 70 80lbs, female.
Packed it out in hopes the bucks will move back in.

Well I didn't get anything this weekend. However my younger brother shot a very small doe (50 pounder). We have been joking with him quite a bit. It was actually a yearling knubby buck.

Pennsylvania fair chase archery black bear. 10 yard shot, right through the boilermaker. Exit hole clogged with fat, making tracking a bit tricky.
