    Whats up guys!

A few of you have asked for me to make an "Official" Build Thread on my current project.

    HERE IT IS!

Project Truck (2016 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Platinum) Color: White)

Honey-D wide Body kit has been Received, currently working on project plan and deployment. Pictures to come with descriptions.

Here is a Projected List of Upgrades and work that is to be Completed:
1.)Bakflip MX4 trifold Bed Cover (Installed)
2.)Bakflip Bedrug 5'6" Crewmax Bed. (installed)
    3. Honey-D 4" Widebody Kit (Includes Fenders and Front Bumper)
    4. Rims (?) Size: 22x12 with -44offset
    5. Tires Probably Toyo Open Country 325/50 R22
    6. Vehicle Wrap: Color (?) its a surprise!! ;)
    7. Lowering the Truck (not sure on how much, want to get the kit and wheels on to see the deficit and make that decision there. I don't want to slam the truck but close in on the gaps and level it.
    8. Rear Seating Entertainment, and upgraded sound system
    9. Supercharger/Tune?!?
    10. Exhaust

So Far I couldn't be happier with the result. Pictures to come shortly.

    Backflip MX4 bed cover installed
    Bakflip Bedrug installed
    Swing cases x2 installed

    Completely happy with the install
Process bedrug and bed cover install took maybe 2 hours to figure it all out and install clean. Swing cases went in today took maybe 30min from unboxxing to installed with 6 self tapping metal screw each for the harness. They swing out and are completely removeable if u need the bed.

So looks like we have some work to do to the fender and bumper before application. The fiberglass edge is rough (needs smoothing) the holes need to be drilled where we will be bolting to the truck.8F143BE1-64F6-48A3-A590-B715D3120927.jpg25681241-6CFC-4FB4-8310-6E315FBE2471.jpg5B5B7751-B039-42B6-9FBB-150FFFA32E86.jpg
We used blue tape to help see the surface area where the bolts will be mounted to help center each drilled hole. Drill bit purchased that’ll help to pilot hole drill then reach the desired hole size. The bolts are 3/8 in thick

Glad I didn’t make arrangements for the show .

Went ahead with the Rockstars RS3
    22x12.5 with a -44 offset

For rubber I purchased the Toyo Open Country AT2 325/50 r22

    And these are MASSIVE!!

The way they sit on the truck and the aggressive pattern is amazing. They fill the wheel area perfectly. When turning they hit the front bumper and rear fender so some modification is in order.

Let me know what you think

I owned these rims on a tacoma with size
    18x9.5 and

These look waaaaay better when large and in charge 22s

The inserts are a fun way to mix up the look. Discount tire was awesome enough to give me all the different inserts for free check them out

I like the bare rim look as well as the white split spoke ones as my favorite

The ring insert is on the way as well

Trying to figure out what we are going to do with the front fender rear section the tires are rubing on a tight turn.

I think we are going to cut the section of the original fender that’s rubing.

This ended up being the tape line we used to trim the back of the front fenders.

Thanks guys also need to make a bracket to displace the front bumper forward 1” on top and 2.5” below. This will prevent the tire to turning into it. It’s kinda nice I like the look having a front shelf with the bumper forward. The way the bumper is molded it still tucks in like it belongs.

    Pics coming soon

Had quite the interesting few weeks. Delayed a few weeks after getting size swiped by a car while visiting California and disneyland.

Just got the truck back from the repair shop and finished installing the bumper extension and brackets. Found some ore-drill stainless steel plates at Lowe’s, cut them down to 1.5” holes for the extension.

I’m completely on the other side of the country. Lol 300 is not bad. I also emailed them about cutting and drilling they said none was required on a lifted set up. I asked for an order form and never received a reply. I guess I’ll ask again. Thanks!

Yes I would. They aren’t the best at immediate responses. Also don’t be mislead. I’m not lifting my truck plus every setup with this kit lowered we’re with 20” rims and 33” tires. I am doing 22” Rims and 35” tires on a lowered setup. Requiring some modification

@DPT007 Looks like the total forward movement provided by your brackets was more than 1"?

Was it exactly 1.25 inches (as stated in your previous reply)?

You only had to move the bumper shell out but not down?
