Toro's MGM TSS Build

So I have had the truck (Cletus) for about a year. In that time I have driven it about 30k miles and done a few mods to it. Figured that I would start a build log so I can chronicle the experience. I have also found that it helps to see how far the project has come while I am find raising for the next mod.

Please feel free to comment or leave ideas. The inspiration for my truck has come in a late way for others I have seen on the site.

 

So I guess the story starts here.


This is Lari-T. He was a 2003 F150 I bought in 2014. I brought him for $5000 cash with 150,000 miles. Prior to him I lived in San Diego had a company car. The wife and I decided we wanted to move back home (New Orleans) and as a result needed to eg a set of wheels. Figured since gas was a whole lot cheaper in Louisiana I would by a cheap truck.
After 2 months I secured a another company car and Lari-T was regulated to hunting and fishing duty.

 

Then three years and 35,000 miles later, life throws a curve ball. I was unceremoniously dismissed from my job. While this truck was great for hunting g and fishing, it left a lot to be desired as a daily driver. His days were numbered.
Three months later I got a new job with a car allowance and decided to come home with Cletus.



Feel like I got a great deal. Paid $38k out the door. Hands down the best truck/car I have ever owned. Pretty much my dream truck minus the 4x4, leather, and sun roof. I guess life is about compromises and I had to make a few.

Had the truck one day before I tinted the front windows. Went with 20% to match the back factory Tint.
